Chapter 27

George's P.O.V

As we walked up and down the beach I held Jades hand and licked my ice cream.

3 teenage girls started to walk in our direction giggling. Jade looked really uncomfortable and squeezed my hand even tighter.

"Hey Jade" One of the girls said in a really low voice looking back and laughing. Jade didn't reply.

The girl had long curly brown hair and peircing green eyes. There was 2 other girls with her. One of them had blonde straight hair with brown eyes and the other had black straight hair with grey eyes.

"Who were they?" I asked confused.

"Oh um some girls that went to my secondary school"

"Were they your friends?"

"Nope"

"What's their names?" I asked in curiosity.

"The girl with curly brown hair and green eyes is called Zoe, the one with blonde hair is called Chloe and the other is called Lauren."

"So wha-"

Jade cut me off by saying "Look George, I don't want to talk about it"

Something was up. There was something wrong with those girls and I didn't like it if it meant that it bothered Jade. We came here for a holiday and I don't want anything to ruin it.

{Back at the apartments - 10pm}

I got changed into my pyjamas and got into bed.

"Jade you coming?"

"Yeah hold on, I'm just getting a drink"

5 minutes later Jade walks in with 2 bottles of water and places one on my bedside table and her another on her one.

She climbs onto the bed and hides under the cover whilst cuddling up to me.

"Goodnight" I said kissing her forehead.

"Goodnight"

She wrapped her arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around her.

We both drifted off to sleep.

{3 am}

It was too hot in the bed so I got out and went over to the kitchen where it was cold.

I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and drank nearly half of it.

"Hey you alright?"

I turned around and it was Josh.

"Yeah I'm fine"

"It's so hot, I can't take it"

"Yeah especially if you have someone else in the bed with you!"

"Crash on the sofa then"

"I would but I don't want to leave Jade because she seems upset"

"Upset? Why?"

"Not upset, more like, oh I don't know."

"Well what happened?"

"When we went to go get ice creams there was 3 girls that went past us and when Jade saw them she looked really uncomfortable. I think something happened a while ago with them and her."

"Oh, I'm sure it's nothing too bad"

"I hope not"

"Well I'm gonna go back to bed now

"Yeah me too"

"Goodnight"

"Night"

I walked back into bed and snuggled up to Jade.

I laid there looking up at the ceiling just thinking about everything that was on my mind.

I slowly drifted off to a deep sleep not dreaming about anything.
