Chapter 39

George's P.O.V

There was a knock at the door and I heard Josh answer it. I heard the familiar voice of Jaymi and Olly. I ran out of my bedroom and hugged Jaymi and Olly hard.

I let go and I felt more tears coming up and not long after falling down the side of my face. I couldn't handle Jade not being here. I needed her and I would do anything to right now to have her in my arms.

"Were gonna find her George, don't worry she'll be back here in no time" Jaymi said trying to comfort me.

"I want her back now" I sobbed.

"We all do. We're doing our best" Olly added.

Josh's phone started to ring so he left the room leaving me, Jaymi and Olly in the living room.

I sat on the sofa and turned on the tv. It was the news and it was about Jade. I immediately turned it over onto itv and there was a repeat of Britain's Got Talent. I sat and watched the acts come on one by one.

Josh came back in the room whilst hanging up from whoever he was talking to.

"Who was that?" I say as I stand up.

"The police"

"Well?"

"Two of them are coming here and the rest are going on search"

"Oh thank god, at last they are doing something" I said in relief.

We could be finding Jade.

Today?

Tomorrow?

Or next week.

We would still be finding Jade and she would be back where she belongs.

It was about 10 minutes before the police officers came. There was a knock on the door and Josh answered it.

Of course it was the police.

"Hello. I'm Officer Brown and this is Officer Nicholas." Officer Brown said. They both walked in and stood In front of us. "Me and Officer Nicholas will be with you throughout this investigation. Our other colleagues are on their way of where they think Jade is, from the help of the text message Jade sent from her phone to George's. Has she said or do you know anything else you haven't mentioned that could help us?"

"No." I replied. My mind blank.

"Are you sure?" Officer Nicholas asked.

I then remembered the night she went out. It was the night she got kidnapped. The beach. 6pm. Then she never came back.

"Wait. I think I do know something" All eyes turned on me and I took a deep breath before speaking. "It was 6 in the evening and I remember Jade said she was going out. I'm not sure where she went but I have a massive gut feeling that it was the beach. Once she left, she never came back" As I spoke the officers were jotting down the notes on a little black notebook.

"Thank you George. This is some good evidence and I will pass it onto my colleagues now"

Officer Brown and Nicholas left the room and you could just about hear them talking on the phone.

I sat back down on the sofa and just waited until they came back in.
