Chapter 28

Jades P.O.V

I woke up the next morning with George still sleeping peacefully.

I got changed into shorts and a pink sleeveless top. I brushed my teeth and made myself toast for breakfast.

Josh's door was open so it looked like he's already up and gone. God knows where he went.

I sat on the sofa and ate my toast. I placed it into the sink and then went back into the bedroom where I wrote a note to George saying:

George,

I have gone downstairs to the bar, I will see you later!

Jade xx

I folded it into two and placed it onto my pillow beside George.

I slipped on my shoes and went downstairs quietly closing the door so that I didn't wake up George.

I found Josh sat at a stool at the bar, so I made my way over, sitting on the stool next to him.

"Morning!" he said looking up with a smile.

"Morning"

"Did you have a good sleep?"

"Yeah I did, did you?"

"Yeah the beds are really comfy here!"

"Yeah they are"

"So, George still asleep?"

"Yeah"

"Typical, were on a holiday and he spends it by sleeping"

I didn't know how to respond to that so I just replied with a little giggle.

"Plans for today then Jade? Doing anything with George?"

"Yeah, he said that he's gonna be taking me out in the evening but I have no idea where"

"Aw, George is so cute"

"Yeah he is, so you doing anything today?"

"I don't know, JJ and Cat are going out so I will probably be hanging out with Jaymi and Olly"

"Sounds cool"

"I hope it is, if I do anything wrong in front of Jaymi he turns into a sassy bitch"

"Well that's Jaymi for ya"

G:"Hey!"

J:"Oh hey George"

Y:"Morning babe"

G:"Sleep well?"

Y:"Yeah I did"

G:"That's good"

Y:"I'm sure you slept well, sleeping for so long"

G:"Yeah I did, sorry"

Y:"Its cool don't worry"

G:"So Josh how are you this morning?"

J:"Good mate you?"

G:"Yeah good"

J:"I'm going back upstairs, be back soon"

Y:"Okay"

As Josh left George took the stool Josh was sitting on and said "You excited for later?"

"Yes!!! Where are we going?"

"Now that's a secret"

"Aw please say"

"No babe it's a secret, come on let's to for a walk"

"Okay"

I held on to George's hand, swaying it forwards and backwards. We came across a little French café and went inside.

"I need to buy a coffee!"

"You and your coffees George" I said giggling.

"I haven't had one in ages!"

"Go on then buy one"

George brought a coffee and I brought myself a cookie crumble frappachino.

"I'll pay for that"

"No it's fine don't worry I can pay"

"No, I'll pay"

I didn't want to protest about it any more so I let George pay.

The lady behind the counter handed us our drinks, George took them and gave me my frappachino. We made our way down to the beach where we sat at a bench drinking our drinks.

The hot shining sun hitting on us both made us hot but our colds drinks cooled us both down.

The view from in front of me was the waves crashing on to shore and little kids making sandcastles with their buckets and spades.
