Chapter 9

Sydney started pacing as words spilled out of Gabriel's mouth. "Now please, do not talk like that about yourself!" Gabriel was still mad. Sydney turned to him and the whole time, Gabriel was facing her.

"Gabriel." She whimpered and walked to him. Gabriel wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "You really did that? Looked over me my whole life?" Sydney asked. "Yes. I saw sweetness in those eyes of yours an I still do. Your special, better than a lot of humans." Gabriel kissed the top of her head.

"And I'll always protect you, always.". Sydney arms wrapped around Gabriel's torso as her head rested in the crook of his neck. "You really think I am beautiful?" She asked Gabriel. "Of course I do!" Gabriel chuckled. "But I'm..." Sydney blushed and looked into Gabriel's eyes. "Don't you dare say ugly." He told her.

Gabriel picked Sydney up bridal style and laid her down on the bed. "Gabriel what are you doi-GABRIEL!" Sydney gasped when Gabriel got on top of her and started to kiss her neck. She didn't know know what to do, she just let him do it.

"Gabriel." Sydney softly said. Gabriel made a noise that vibrated on Sydney's neck. Sydney softly made a noise and moved her head so Gabriel had more space. She felt a mark form on her neck. "Your sweeter than all the candy I have ever had." Gabriel mumbled in Sydney's ear.

He kissed her jaw but then stopped. Sydney put a hand in his hair and the other on his arm. Gabriel moved off her and sat up on the side of the bed. "Father told me not to do that!" Gabriel said frustrated. Sydney sat up and looked at him. She didn't know what to say or what to do.

"Father told me not to touch you like that or do any of this to you!" Gabriel ran a hand through his hair. Sydney placed a hand on his shoulder. Gabriel looked down at his lap and shook his head. "Gabriel." Sydney then hugged him from behind, wrapping his arms around his waist and forehead on the shoulder she had her hand on.

"I just wanted my family to be normal before everything happened." Gabriel sighed. Gabriel toke Sydney's hands and held them.

"I just want it to be over. I want a good family."

"You have me."

"Syd?"

"I'm still here."

"Please be my girlfriend again?"

"Of course."

"I never could have thought that you would want too." Gabriel said. "I was jealous of the waitress when she winked and smiled at you. Plus, your hot and you have some sexy kisses!" Sydney giggled. "Touché." Gabriel smiled, then sighed.

"What is father going to think.". Sydney kissed his cheek and said, "Don't worry about what he'll think or what he told you to do. Do what you wanna do and think wanna think you adorable potato!" Sydney told him. "Ok, I'll so that." Gabriel's dimples were clearly showing and Sydney poked one of them, Gabriel made a noise when she did, and that making her giggle.
