Chapter 17

"Sam, let Sydney go, " Castiel demanded. Sam got in front of a Sydney protectively, feeling that Castiel betrayed him and Dean. "I'm sorry Sam," Castiel said, flicking his hand and Sam flung to the other side of the room. Sam groaned as he hit the wall. "Sammy!" Sydney screamed.

"Guys! Stop it, please!" Tears slid down Sydney's cheeks. Gabriel grabbed Dean's collar and slammed him up against the hotel door, making him groan in pain. Castiel grabbed Sydney's arm and soon, both of them to a different place. An empty bar with no doors or windows, only dim lights lit the place.

"Castiel! Take me back!" Sydney mumbled. "Gabriel told me not too," Castiel told her. "But Sam and Dean might hurt him or Gabriel might hurt them!" Sydney cried.

"But you will get hurt in the mix. When you try to stop Sam and Dean when they fight, fifty percent of the time, they will end up hurting you. Now with an archangel in the mix, you would most likely get hurt. All three of them love you and so do I, we don't want you to be injured, especially because of us." Castiel said.

Castiel looked into Sydney's teary eyes and sensed more then just her being upset. She is angry and sad. Castiel pulled Sydney into a hug as she cried.

Gabriel punched Dean in the face. Sam got up and ran to the two, soon grabbing Gabriel by his jacket and slamming him on the ground. "What did you do to her!" Sam yelled. Gabriel got up slowly, knowing the boys are still armed with guns and a few knives.

"I did nothing, I would never hurt her!" Gabriel snapped back. "Then why are you here! Why are you even alive?" Dean yelled. "Have you met me? I'm a trickster!" Gabriel told them. "But what are you doing here though, why are you with Sydney?" Sam demanded.

"Cause she's alone! You always leave her at motels while you two go on hunts!" Gabriel said. "She is always fine! She's used to it. Plus, why do you care about Sydney and us anyways?" Sam asked. "Haven't you listened to you asshat! I don't want her to be alone, you two are terrible brothers!" Gabriel told him.

Dean charged at him but Gabriel dodged him and Dean slammed against the floor again. Sam went straight to Gabriel to throw a punch. Gabriel caught his punch and twisted his arm. Sam groaned in pain and dropped to his knees from the pain. "You only care about the other, not Sydney. I love Sydney more than you'll ever do." Gabriel growled, he soon kicked Sam in the stomach.

"You bastard, you don't know what it's like," Sam growled. Gabriel kicked him once more, "You say I don't know what it's like? My brothers and sisters killing each other! They hate each other's guts!" Gabriel yelled.
