Chapter 13: Weird
* Dylan's POV *
* N E X T D A Y *
I walked inside the club and sat down. I was here earlier than I expected. I arrived at 6 pm so I need to wait 30 minutes more. I noticed that I wasn't the only one early. I sat next to Isabelle who was using her phone so I looked around. I saw Zack and Mack sitting apart. There was one seat between them which is kind of weird since they usually sit together. The other thing that's strange is that Mack and Zack weren't talking. Zack looked like he was looking for someone and Mack was just staring at the table.
Me: Don't you think Mac and Zack are acting weird? -I whispered to Isabelle.
Isabelle looked up from her phone and sighed.
Isabelle: Yeah, I've noticed it since school. I haven't seen Zack talk to Mack and today at lunch, Mack was in another world.
Me: What do you think that could happen between them?
Isabelle shrugged.
Isabelle: I don't know, but it is something serious since they aren't like this for that long.
I frowned. I heard the door open and I saw Ashley walking through the doors. She had a satisfied smile on her face. Then, Mayson came in. He looked annoyed. He walked towards our table and sat down. He didn't greet us or anything, but he took out his phone.
He usually sits with Zack and Mack?
I heard, once again, the door open. It was Angel going in. She started walking inside, but to my surprise, she walked straightly to Zack. She sat down next to him and smiled sweetly at him. He smiled back at her. I looked at Mack and she was finally staring at them. She didn't looked angry nor annoyed, but she did looked sad. She stood up and walked outside with her guitar case.
I turned to look at Isabelle. She had the same expression as mine, confused.
* Jada's POV *
Dan, Phil and I got inside just in time for work. I walked and looked for them, but they weren't up at the stage. I just saw Dylan sitting alone at a table.
Me: Dylan!
We walked to him and he looked at us.
Phil: Dylan, where are the others? Where did they went?
Dylan: Mayson cancelled it.
Me: Cancelled? But we've got to be on stage since it counts as our practice for the band competition.
Dylan shrugged.
Dylan: He didn't looked the same as usual. So Adam, Angel, Zack, and Mack.
Me: Mack? What's wrong with her?
Dylan: Isabelle and I noticed that she's too depressed. Mack told Isabelle that the show's cancelled too.
Dan: And Zack?
