Chapter 14: Choose The One
* Isabelle's POV *
I walked back to my hometown since it was late when I saw Zack walking out of a store. I ran over to him.
Me: Hey Zack!
Zack turned around and smiled.
Zachary: Hey Isabelle!
Me: What have you been doing all day long? We haven't seen you almost all day.
Zack shrugged.
Zachary: I was just with Angel. I kept her company for a little.
Me: A little? Yeah right. -I rolled my eyes and smiled softly.
Zack smiled faintly too.
Zachary: The rest of the day I was alone thinking.
Me: What were you thinking about?
Zack sighed as he looked at the dark sky.
Zachary: Imagine if you were friends with someone you've met almost your whole life. You develop feelings for him when you actually haven't noticed. You start losing hope as you see that the person's out of your reach, even when you're at his side. Then, someone else comes in your life. It lights up your heart as he smiles and makes you feel like you want to spend more time with that person. But when you see at the other side, there's your friend who you knew all along . . . And you're just confused and unsure what could you do. -He frowns, not staring at my face for the whole time.
I looked at him, unsure if he's talking about himself or another person, which it would be kind of weird.
Zachary: What would you do? -He looked at me, hoping for an answer.
I frowned and looked at the floor, unsure what to say. I looked back at him and sighed.
Me: Love is something that could bright your whole world. I would choose the one who makes me more happy and comfortable of being me. I would choose the one who accepts me of who I am, even in the worst situations.
Zack looked at the other way. We stayed in a silence for a while until he looked back at me. He smiled weakly and had tears in his eyes.
Zachary: And what if you don't want to let go of someone who never loved you back, but they cared for you?
Me: . . It's really a hard decision since everything could change. Our future could change, it's just based on the decisions to make.
Zack nodded and I patted his back softly as I smiled weakly.
Me: Take your time since this is hard, alright?
I hugged Zack quickly and walked away.
I know that I just helped my crush in his love problems. I know that I'm not in his options. I know that I have a very little chance. I just want for him to be happy, that's all.
* Dylan's POV *
I checked the time and it was 8 pm. I kept walking until I spotted Isabelle walking slowly. I walked towards her and looked at her. She was looking down since she didn't saw me.
