Cameron looked at Raph and he motioned to her to talk to him while he helped her stand.
They quickly walked into the main room, catching everyone's attention.
Raph held a finger over his mouth, mouthing 'Shredder' and pointing to her phone.
Everyone seemed to understand as they moved closer to hear the conversation.
"You're probably wondering where your brother is, my child... he's fine, and he'll remain that way-," Everyone let out a breath of relief.
"Only if you do as I say,"
And the fear returns.
-----
Once the call ended it was time to form a plan.
Shredder had demanded Cameron show up to his lair, alone, and had demaned that she stay with him. Forever. And if she refused, then Charlie would be 'Disposed of'.
Which no one wanted to happen.
She was supposed to be the by midnight, and it was five minutes till then, so they had to work fast.
The plan was for Cameron to pretend like she was coming willingly, and then when she was alone, the turtles, plus April and Casey would perform an extraction and take them back home.
-----
Cameron slowly walked into the building, coming to a stop in front of the Shredder himself.
Little did he know, they were being watched.
The turtles were watching from the roof, making sure he didn't do any harm.
"Are we sure this is a good idea?," April asked. "Shredder's not really good at keeping his word,"
"That's why we're here, to make sure he does," Leo reassured.
He squinted, trying to follow them with his eyes as they entered another room.
"We need to get in there Donnie-,"
Leo looked back at him, only to see he already had the blowtorch out.
"Already on it,"
-----
Once they got into the building they followed Cameron and Shredder byinto another, larger room.
It was kind of disturbing; cages were set up, along with different snake species inside of them.
When they spotted Cameron, she was in one of the much larger cages, being embraced by her brother.
'Well, that's good,' Leo thought, nodding to himself.
Leo saw Cameron look around, before her eyes landed on him.
She waved, giving him a thumbs up. He nodded, returning the gesture.
'Here goes nothing,'
He grabbed the rope and grappling book from his hostler, tying it around the bar he was leaning against, then lowering it down into the opened top of the cage.
Charlie climbed up first, Cameron had said she was going to make him do that earlier.
When it was Cameron's turn, the door to the room suddenly opened.
Tiger Claw stepped in, immediately noticing the dangling rope and missing person.
He growled, grabbing Cameron by her arm and dragging her out of the room.
Seconds later, an alarm went off.
"We need to go. Now!,"
Leo grabbed Charlie's arm and pulled him away from the scene, Raph following behind them.
-----
When they returned to the lair, there was a tension.
"We'll get her back, it's not like Shredder would do anything to hurt her," Leo reassured.
No one said anything, but they knew he was right.
Charlie hadn't said anything the whole time, and no one pressured him.
April showed him to the room Cameron had been using, so he could sleep there, then she and Casey headed to their homes.
When everyone headed to bed, Leo went to go check on Raph.
He had been doing something in the dojo, Leo didn't know what exactly, but he could here some this every now and then.
When he walked in,the first thing he saw, was Raph digging around in the weapons cupboard.
Leo came up behind him, frowning.
"What are you doing?,"
The red clad turtle jumped violently, banging his head against the top wooden shelf.
"What the fuck, Leo?,"
Leo ignored him, looking at the bag next to his brother. "Where are you going?,"
Raph didn't answer, continuing to pack his bag, placing a pouch of egg smoke bombs on top of his pile of weapons.
"You're going to get Cameron, aren't you?,"
Raph tensed, then zipped up his bag, throwing it over his shoulder.
"I don't care what you say, Leo, it ain't gonna stop me from-,"
"I'm going with you,"
Raph turned around. "What?,"
"I'm the leader, so it only makes sense that I come with you," Leo explained, taking his Katana out from the cupboard.
"Alright... fine,"
-----
When they were walking through the sewers, Leo suddenly remembered something.
"Did she say yes?,"
Raph looked at him.
"Did who say yes to what?,"
"Did Cameron say yes when you asked her out?,"
Raph blushed and rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"No.... I didn't ask her yet,"
Leo laughed.
"What? Why not?,"
"Because, Leo! I was gonna ask her then Shredder called her phone, that's not exactly the best situation to ask someone out in!," Raph spat, his face burning.
Leo chuckled slightly, shaking his head.
"True,"
Word Count- 830.
