"What...? Why are you wearing Karai's clothes?," Mikey asked.

He seemed to be the only one who didn't understand.

"He... he wanted you as a replacement for her," Leo realized. Cameron nodded, fiddling with her hands.

"What... what did he do exactly? Other than the tests?," April asked.

Cameron took a moment, writing something down.

'Nothing really, he let me have Karai's old room, and called me his daughter, he let me have her old clothes and pretty much everything in her room,'

"That's kinda creepy, dudes," Mikey said.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"It makes sense though...he misses her," Raph spoke up. The red clad turtle hadn't said a word the whole time they were talking.

"Yeah... and I guess he tested on you... to make you more like her?,"

Cameron shook her head.

'He was trying to fix me, make me human again. But he wasn't going to let me go afterwards, so I escaped,' April read what Cameron wrote out loud.

"This is starting to sound like a fucking horror movie, guys," Casey said, shuddering.

"Yeah... But... what does he want with your brother?," Donnie asked.

'Shredder knows how much he means to me, he knows eventually I'll come back for him,' Cameron sighed as April read her words aloud.

She ran a hand through her messy hair and yawned.

Leo looked at her, noticing the bags under her eyes.

"Maybe we should call it a night, we can talk more in the morning. We have a spare room in the back you can use," Leo said, smiling softly at Cameron.

She nodded and he led her to the room.

April gave her a spare t-shirt and a pair of shorts for her to sleep in and offered to take Cameron home tomorrow to get the girl some her own clothes.

That night, while Cameron was sleeping, Leo decided to confront Raph.

He noticed that he was uncharacteristically quiet, and he wanted to know why.

Raph was in the dojo, of course.

Leo paused, not really knowing how to approach the subject matter.

"Uh... hey Raph, can I talk to you for a sec?,"

The hot head stopped his assault on his bag and turned to his brother, walking over to him.

"Yeah, what's up?," Raph asked.

"I um... Are you alright? You seem a little... strange,"

He saw Raph flinch as if he'd been caught doing something, and frowned.

"Uh... no, yeah, I'm fine... how's Cameron doing?,"

Oooh.

Leo laughed slightly, earning a scowl from the other turtle.

"What's so funny?," Raph crossed his arms.

"Do you....like Cameron?," Leo asked, still snickering.

Raph's cheeks suddenly turned a bright red.

"No! I... So what if I do?," He spat, his frown deepening.

"Nothing, I just thought it was obvious  that I like her and she likes me,"

That statement earned him an eye roll from the other turtle.

"Seriously? What makes you think she likes you back?," Raph asked, giving him a look.

Leo blushed. "Well, I... she... just.... ok, I don't know if she does, but the point is, I liked her first!,"

"Says who?,"

"Says me! I'm the leader so-,"

"Just because you're leader doesn't mean you automatically get the girl!,"

"Oh, yeah? I-,"

"What is going on here?,"

The two turtles suddenly froze, slowly turning to face their father.

"Sensei/Master Splinter!,"

Leo and Raph glared at each other.

"Shouldn't you two be in bed?," The rat asked, raising an eyebrow. There was no doubt he'd heard their argument.

"Right. Good night, Sensei," Leo left first.

"Night, Master Splinter,"

Raph raced after him, knowing that he wasn't going to his room first.
