Wisdom teeth

Connor waited impatiently in the waiting room of the dental office.  A woman in her mid 40s called Connor's name, and Connor followed her to one of the surgery rooms. As he stepped inside, he saw that Evan's cheeks were puffed up twice their normal size, and his eyes had a faraway look to them.
"Hey, Ev." Connor grinned. Evan slowly turned towards the taller male.
"Connor! I'm so fucking happy to see you!" He giggled uncontrollably. Connor raised an eyebrow at the dentist, who took that as a sign to explain.
"We had to give him laughing gas during the extractions. So he may be a bit loopy until it wears off." Connor nodded and helped Evan off the bed. The dentist gave him instructions on what foods to feed him and what to avoid, and then dismissed them. As Connor got Evan into his car, Evan was still a giggling mess.
Connor smirked at his friend, unable to keep back a comment.
"So I guess you know why I like the effects of weed, huh?" Evan stared at him, smiling widely.
"Connor! Let's smoke weeeeed!" He exclaimed. Connor shook his head.
"Oh hell no, Ev. There's no way I'm giving you weed." Evan got a pouty look. Connor just continued to shake his head. After a few moments of silence, Evan spoke up again in a squeak.
"You know, I'm in love with you Con." He giggled nonestop. Connor's face grew hot and he couldn't find words to respond. In truth, he actually did have a crush on Evan. But he never admitted it. Instead, he glanced at Evan when they came to a stoplight.
"Is that so?" He said sarcastically. Evan grinned and pulled him by the shoulders to face him, pressing his lips to Connor's. Connor's eyes were wide with surprise, his face as red as strawberries. He pulled away when he heard a car beep behind them. Connor was at a loss for words, and they sat in silence until they arrived at Evan's house. He slowly walked him inside, laying him on the couch.
"Try to sleep, Evan." He instructed. He decided to dismiss the kiss as an act caused by the effects of the laughing gas. Evan was grinning from ear to ear, wrapping up in a blanket.
"I'll come by tomorrow, bye Ev." Connor smiled warmly at him as he drifted off to sleep before he had even finished his sentence. He left a note for Heidi on the instructions the dentist had given him, and left the house to head to his own. Connor felt a small grin spread across his face.
Holy shit... Evan just fucking kissed me.
