Niall's POV

When the guys told me that Justin was coming I was shocked and angry.  He was coming back after three years of being absent and he didn't even know that Drew had been born and I was raising him.  He didn't deserve to find out about him, but him thinking so low of me, made me want to prove myself for the very first time in my life.

Pattie was crying for hours and hours when Justin told her he was coming and she didn't want to lose him again, so she practically begged me to be calm and just listen to what he had to say. She also suggested telling him the truth about Drew herself, but If Justin had or wanted to know about my son, the only person who could and had the right to tell him was me.

"Niall?" As if on cue, Pattie walked into my room while I was lying on my bed with Drew sleeping on my chest.

"Hey Pattie." I whispered and she came to sit beside me.

"Everything alright?" She asked quietly while rubbing Drew's back softly. I only hummed in response and she continued.

"He'll be home in two hours." She informed me and I nodded looking up at the ceiling.

"What are you going to tell him, honey?" She asked, quickly getting that I wasn't ready to face him. She was the most understanding person I had ever met. Even my mother wasn't as understanding. But Pattie, when it came to her son, wasn't exactly agreeing with me to anything. Sure, she supported me, gave me advice and knew I was right, but she always pestered me to forgive Justin, even when he didn't even show any signs of being alive or wanting to come back.

"I really have no idea." I admitted, sighing in frustration.

"You could maybe have Drew stay with you two. Maybe it will help." She suggested.

"Yeah, I know, but I'm not sure If I want Justin to meet him just yet. He didn't want him when I was pregnant, what makes you all think he is willing to see him now?" I questioned as Drew whimpered in his sleep and I soothed him.

"He is his son too, Ni. It's your decision, I know, but Justin is my child and I want you to give him a chance. You know that I am and always will be by your side when it comes to this, but you'll never know his true intentions if you don't at least try and hear him out and just let him see Drew. Now, come on. Your parents are downstairs and you have to give Drew his medicine." She told me and patted me on my shoulder as I got up slowly with Drew in my arms to wake him up. He had been sneezing and coughing since yesterday, while complaining about his tummy aching.

"Thank you, Pattie. Your help really means a lot." I thanked her.

"It's the best thing I can do." She smiled warmly and we walked downstairs.

"Da-daddy." Drew mumbled through his coughs when I had given him his medicine and I rocked him back and forth to calm him down, patting his back softly.

"Do you want to watch a movie, baby?" I asked him and he nodded slowly. He probably had a fever, because his cheeks and eyes were red and he was very warm. I sat him on the couch, kissed his head and went to my room to bring a big brown blanket to cover the both of us. When I went back to the living room, Pattie and my parents had left and I almost had a heart attack because Drew wasn't on the couch, but when I turned my head, I saw him picking a movie from the drawer under the TV. He picked the 'Lion King' and I laughed. It had been his favorite since the first time he saw it and he had seen it a billion times after that. I picked him up and lied down on the couch with him in my arms, covering us with the blanket.

I hadn't even realised that I had fallen asleep until I woke up by someone pinching my cheek and I immediately knew who it was. Pinching everyone's cheeks was Drew's habit.
