Sunlight streamed in through the window, the boy stirring in his sleep. He rolled over and knocked the noisy alarm clock off the shelf. Wait, a shelf? Marinette screamed, shooting up in less than a second. Her voice was deeper than usual. She realized she couldn't see a thing. Have I gone crazy? She thinks to herself, groping around for anything to help her figure out what was going on.
She managed to grab a plastic frame, and by running her hand along it, she could tell that it was a pair of spectacles. She put them on, blinking a few times to adjust to the increased sharpness of her vision. She was lying on a dark blue bed, a set of clothing at the end. She got up and walked towards the clothes, and almost died of panic. The clothes belonged to Nino.
She saw a mirror and peered into it, Nino's face peering back at her. She clapped a hand over her mouth before she could scream and switched on the phone lying on the table.
