Lexxii's Story .

Part Eight(:

felt like I had went to hell and back. This couldn't be happening. Why was this happening. A flood of memories came back. I've known Mark.. How do I know Mark.? Then it hit me.   It was a stormy night I was at the park a darkened figure walked up to me. They had a gruff voice they practically coughed out the words'Are you okay.?' I had been crying and it was noticeable. All I could do was cry as my cut wrists gushed out blood. I flung myself into his arms. I knew him. It was him. The most popular guy in high school with the most unpopular girl. What do they say.? I had to think about it for a second. Oh yeah .. Opposites attract. In this case yeah I suppose they do."Lexxii," he whispered. "what have you done.? I love you.!" he started to sob. "get in my car now. You're going to the hospital. I'm not going to loose you dammit." I couldn't reply. I was to faint. "Lexxii.! Reply to me." I heard him mumble 'goddammit. I can't loose her. Shes my life.' those were the last words I heard before I passed out. I woke up to the annoying beep of the heart monitor in a hospital.. The first thing I saw was Marks' gruff face. He had chin stubble and purple bags under his eyes, very unattractive. "Mark.?" I croaked. "What're you doing here.? What am I doing here.?" "Lexxii, do you really not remember it.? You tried to commit suicide in the park on Grove. I saw you and I took you to the hospital." he started to cry. "Lex, you scared the hell outta me. I don't know what I would of done if I lost you."   then like a record player in my head I reheard everything. The thud of the rain against the windshield, the nervous uneven breaths of Mark, the barely heard breaths of mine. Then Mark said 'Lexxii, what have you done.? I love you.! Get in my car now I'm not going to loose you goddamit.! Lexxii.! Reply to me.! Goddammit. I can't loose her. She's my life'

"I have something to tell you."

"What is that.?"

"Lex," He took in a deep breath "I love you."  

"Mark" I whispered. "We've met before, haven't we.?"
