"Here is your new jacket and your new cape!" Hanji said cheerfully as she handed me a soft new cape and jacket.
Wings of Freedom. I was finally going to wear them. Just like my mother. I smiled warmly at the thought of my mom.

"I can't thank you enough."

"I should be thanking you!" Hanji grasped both of my shoulders. "Now that there is another girl on the squad, we can have Girls Night!" Hanji was jumping with joy around my new bedroom.

I giggled lightly. Hanji could be so childish at times, but it was nice to have a friend. I was never very good at making friends, so I enjoyed having Hanji around. She lightened the mood around here. Everyone was so serious and strict, then there's Hanji. When she's serious, you don't want to be around.

"So what do you think?" Hanji asked, her eyes glistening with hope.

"Yea, alright." I answered with a smile.

"Yahooo!" she yelled and threw her arms up into the air. "We can do hair and paint nails and everything!" she then slowly turned around and raised her eyebrows. "And talk about...BOYS!"

I hid my face, knowing where this was going.

"Haannnjii, stop!" I whined into my hands.

"Admit it (F/N)," she started to whisper. "You like Corporal!" she giggled afterwards.

"I'm not admitting anything." I laughed and turned to set my new uniform down. "Hey, who do you like, Hanji?" I asked with a smirk.

"N-no one." She quickly turned around.

"Haaaanji?"

"No one!" she laughed, playfully hitting me in the arm.

"I will find out! Mark my words!" I laughed and poked Hanji on the nose.

"Where is everything in this damn place?" I whispered, trying to find my way to the bathroom.

My bladder had woken me up from a very peaceful sleep. Thanks pee, fuck you.

I had one hand on the wall and my other hand out in front of me, making sure I wouldn't run into anything. I wasn't use to this place, I did just get here yesterday.

"Where is the fucking bathroom?" I cursed under my breath feeling around in the darkness.

"What the hell are you doing?"

I turned to see, of course, Levi standing there with a candle. I shielded my eyes a little from the bright light of the burning flame. I honestly didn't care about proper hellos at the moment, I was going to wet myself.

"Where the hell is the bathroom?" I spoke really fast.

"tch" Levi hooked his arm in mine and guided me through the twists and turns of the hallways.

After a lot of turns and hallways, we reached the bathroom.

"Well?" he asked in an annoyed voice.

I held his arm a little tighter and sifted my feet around.

"Okay, I know this is weird, but can you wait for me? I'm terrified of the dark." I say quickly, trying not to sound too whiney.

He sighed and looked down at me as if saying 'Really, brat? The dark?' I just gave him puppy dog eyes, hoping he would say yes. He nodded and released his arm from mine.

"Okay be right back." I whispered.

I smiled and ran off into the bathroom.
