Chapter 3 Part 2: She Is a Keeper

I'm starting after the have eaten, and back in Linda's POV. I don't know what else to say other than ENJOY!!!

"That meal was lovely."

"Yes it was."

"Do you want any desert?

"Yes, but there isn't anything on the menu that I want."

"Oh. So where would you like to go."

"You will see."

He paid for the dinner and we proceeded to walk out the restaurant. He called for the car but I told him there is no need for him to. "It's only 2 blocks from here you can walk!"

"I guess so."

"No you can."

"Ok. But your paying!"

"Uh no. I'm not. Remember this dinner was to apologize for how you acted towards me earlier. Remember?"

"I remember. I just want to say again how truly sorry I am. No one as pretty as you should be treated the way I did earlier."

Wait did he just call me pretty? "Did you just call me pretty?"

"Yes."

So he thinks I'm pretty!! "Well thank you. And your forgiven. Now if you do it again I will have to hurt you and make you take me out to dinner again!"

"You can't hurt me!"

"You wanna bet?"

"Sure. As a matter of fact there is a boxing class that a friend of mine teaches. How about we go tomorrow after work. Let's see if you can beat me."

"If I didn't know any better I think you were asking me out on the sly."

"Maybe. Are you going to come?"

"Yes, but I must warn you. I'm a 4th degree black belt and my brother is the police chief. He taught me everything he knows."

"Then it's a date. Just be prepared to get you ass whooped!"

"Oh sweetheart I will never get my ass whooped. You on the other hand. I hate to hurt you."

"Yea yea we shall see!"

"Ok then."

We stayed quite for a while until I broke the silence.
