John met Linda at his parent house.
Once there she burned the gloves and her Tim's.
With the ashes she scooped them up and flushed them.
Afterwards she cleaned the bathroom and the spot where she burned everything.
They both sat on the couch with they're heads down.
Linda's mind was Racing.
How could she not believe the man she loved!
She had been through so much over the years.
When she saw those pictures all she could think was that he did this.
Who wouldn't.
Your ex keeps popping up for no reason at all.
She had seen to many times a man blowing off they're exes then getting with them.
It was all to common.
She had to do the best thing for her and her kids.
John was the first to speak.
"Are you ok. I mean do you feel alright."
She shook her head yes.
"Have you been eating?". He had concern in his eyes.
Once again she shook her head yes.
"Ok that's um good. Um I guess I will get going.". He said getting up.
"Wait.". Linda said putting her hand out.
He turned around looking at her.
"Yes?"
"Will you hold me?". Her eyes began to water.
"Yes.".
He sat down and pulled her into his lap.
She started to cry.
He pulled her even closer.
"Baby it's ok. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere."
She continued to cry into his chest.
She felt horrible.
She didn't believe her husband.
John rocked and rocked her until she was better.
Once her tears dried she wanted to say something.
She sat up and looked him into his face.
"I'm sorry. I should have believed you. I just. I. I have dated men who said one thing and did the complete opposite.". She slowly put down her head.
He placed his hand under her chin and pulled it up.
"I forgave you when you were stomping Jay's head in.". He smiled at her.
She laughed a little.
That made him light up inside.
He saw her smile.
He hadn't seen that in a week and it was slowly killing him.
"Are you hungry?". He asked placing her on the side of him.
