[Tyler's p.o.v]

Short chapter
Listen to the song and read this oml my heart.

I heard something that broke my heart.

Crying.

I looked behind me and saw Josh, tears streaming out of his closed eyes, sobbing quietly as students passed by, staring at him.

I rushed over, pausing in front of him.

I hesitantly wrapped my arms around him and pulled him close, attempting to calm him.

"What is it?" I questioned.

"I-i heard him," Josh sobbed out.

I let go of him and looked at him, bringing my thumbs to his cheeks to wipe away the tears.

"Don't cry, it's not worth wrecking yourself over," I spoke up.

Josh gave me a weak smile.

I observed his beautiful brown eyes and pastel cotton candy colored hair. I looked at the ring of metal that went through his nose and the black circles that stretched his ears. I looked at his soft skin that admired his nice completion. The way his eyes wrinkled up into crows feet as he smiled. How bright and straight his smile was.

A/N:  Josh's teeth are straighter than Tyler. ;)

I smiled and wrapped my hand around this wrist and pulled him over to an empty table. I sat down on the opposite side so I could listen to him and admire him more.

"O-okay.." he breathed out.

"We don't have to talk about this Josh, we can find something else to talk about that doesn't break you," I frowned.

He looked at me with a reassuring smile.

"It's okay, you deserve to know,"

I nodded and leaned forward, listening closely.

"Me, Tyler and Brendon all went to kindergarten together and Tyler ended up moving away. We never spoke to each other after that. I'm not sure why. Our mothers still talked-."

I began to realize something...

"And my mother said that he died in a car accident,"

I stayed silent, staring at him. I remembered I brought something with me to school today, because I planned ahead. I had a feeling. I had cried over this.

I grabbed my bag from the bench and unzipped it. Josh watched me curiously.

"Please.. say something Tyler,"

I wrapped my hand around something that felt all too familiar. I pulled it out and set it on the table.

Josh's eyes widened-

As he stared at the little red and white plane he had given me for my 4th birthday. Both of our eyes had tears in them, my tears already dripping off my face as they slithered down.

"I never died, Josh.."
