Chapter 7
As i read the message i was astonished. After all he had said, he was still willing to talk to me. I responded to the text message replying
"Umm hi?"
"Hey Meli! I wanna say hi!!"
"Well hi i guess"
After that we continued talking for about 3 months day and night. We started to then call each other, telling eachother about our days and such.
Then before we knew it, we each had grown attached to one another and could not stop talking to eachother. As August came around, we went to the school to recieve our new classes. We had different classes and would rarely see eachother. I was dramatically disappointed that I wouldn't be able to see him as often as last year but hopefully the schedules would change. Then after a couple of days the first day of 7th grade had came.

Chapter 8
The first day everyone was very quiet and did not want to speak. In my homeroom, there was almost no one i knew from last year and thought that this would be a new adventure then. There was this one girl named diana that had been in one of my reading classes from the previous year. She was very quiet and to me, she looked very cool and interesting to talk to. After awhile getting yo know eachother we became very good friends. She was a twin with her sister Ericka and she lived right near the school. Im very glad i met her, she has made a huge impact on my life. As i was walking down the hall way i saw Irvin. We both greeted each other once again and it felt warming to know he still remembered me. Then i saw Alonzo, crazy as usual run up to me and give me a huge hug. Sadly, he had broken up with his girlfriend, so he began flirting with a lot of girls. The days went on, I made new friends such as this guy named Alejandro and Oscar. They both also became very close to me.

Chapter 9
Two months went by and everything was the same and amazing. I never liked school as much as I did during those two months. Everything seemed very perfect. Alonzo and I were very close as ever still, so were me and Diana. Irvin and I still talked as much as possible. Then on October 20th, we both stayed up very late, we just had finished playing videogames online, then we started talking. He had been bugging me to tell him 1 secret, so i did. I told him i had liked him before. I became very nervous on what he would say, thinking he would think i was a creep or tell me to go away from him again. But what he said next, I would never forget. As I told him that, he told me
"Melissa, to be completely honest, I used to too"
"Really?"
"Yeah and I still do.."
Silence was there for about 2 minutes. I was completely in shock. Why had he told me to go away? What did I do or say to like me anyway?
I then responded with "Well so do I"
Then he then asked me the question that I had been waiting for 6 months of the time i had liked him
"Melissa, will you be my girlfriend?"
I thought about it for a quick 10 seconds, deciding, is this what I really want?
"..yes"
I could then hear him in joy whispered
"YES!"
I began to laugh. As i fell asleep, I thought to myself, my new life begins with Irvin Gutierrez.
