I do not own Life is Strange or any of it's characters, I just love them all so much, and I want the story to continue on. Also, WHO'S EXCITED FOR BEFORE THE STORM??!!

"Hush, little baby, don't say a word.

Mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird

And if that mockingbird won't sing,
Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring

And if that diamond ring turns brass,
Mama's gonna buy you a looking glass

And if that looking glass gets broke,
Mama's gonna buy you a billy goat

And if that billy goat won't pull,
Mama's gonna buy you a cart and bull

And if that cart and bull turn over,
Mama's gonna buy you a dog named Rover

And if that dog named Rover won't bark
Mama's gonna buy you a horse and cart

And if that horse and cart fall down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town." You sing, cradling the infant in your arms. She coos and reaches up for you, her chubby little fingers drumming curiously on your cheek. You smile and cover her hand with yours, setting her in a beautifully carved crib decorated in little butterflies.

      "Y/N..? Y/N.."

Your brow furrowed and you blinked as you were brought back to the real world, Chloe leaning over you with confused and worried look.

"Babe, are you alright?" You looked around you. Sun streamed in through the window above your bed, shining onto Chloe. You looked into her beautiful blue eyes, and you could see the world. You smiled faintly and nodded, leaning up and gently pressing your lips to her own.

"I'm just fine.." You said, and she smiled, laying you back down and kissing underneath your jawline, her hands caressing your sides. You smiled, a sigh escaping her lips as her kisses dipped lower down your neck.

"Hey guys do you like blueberries in your pancakes or- oh jeez not again.." Nathan groaned, covering his eyes as he walked into the bedroom. You raised an eyebrow and sat up, Chloe groaning and throwing a pillow at him. "NOT a good time, Prescott.."

"Dear, what is Nathan doing in our house at.." You looked at the clock, "..7 in the morning?"

Chloe climbed off of you, rubbing the back of her neck as she hopped off the bed. "Well.. so I was getting a snack last night-"

You raised an eyebrow. "Chloe we talked about this.."

"-not important, anyway, so I was getting a snack and my phone rang. I picked it up and Richie Rich starts blubbering-"

"I was not blubbering!" Nathan claimed defensively. You shook your head with a sigh and a chuckle, getting out of bed yourself. You were thankful to find both Chloe and yourself were more or less clothed, yourself in a t-shirt of Chloe's and her in her underwear. Nonetheless Nathan still looked very uncomfortable.

"Why don't we let Nathan tell the story from here, babe." You said as gently as possible to Chloe, who pouted like a child.

"Well, some stuff happened last night... Danny and I got in fight, and well.. here I am.." He said, fidgeting anxiously with his hands. You walked over and took them in your own, rubbing little circles with your thumbs against the backs of his hands. That had always helped him calm down in the past.

"It's going to be okay Nate..." You said, and he pursed his lips. "I hope so, Y/N.."

"Well, I for one would love blueberry pancakes, thanks for volunteering to make breakfast." Chloe smiled, changing the subject. Nathan nodded, gladly welcoming it. "Yeah I'll go start on those. Sorry, again, for um-.. interrupting.."

You and Chloe shared a look. "We're used to it."

Nathan left the room, going back downstairs as Chloe wrapped her arms around your waist from behind, kissing the top of your head. "What were you thinking about?" She asked, taking you a bit by surprise.

      "Huh?"

"Earlier, in bed, what were you thinking about? You disappeared for a moment there, it was really strange..." She murmured, and you hesitated.

"It was nothing, I just dozed off, you know?" You said, and Chloe nodded. "Yeah, yeah I know you're a shitty liar, but I wont push you." She smiled, letting go of you and placing a kiss to your cheek before walking downstairs.

You smiled, a little thoughtfully, a little sadly, and a little concerned. One thing was for sure though, even if you were losing your mind at least you'd still have her with you.
