I do not own Life is Strange or any of its characters, nor Carmilla or any of its characters, I'm just a fan doing my fan-duty to write fanfiction. So yeah..

"Nate these pancakes are sick! When did you get so good a cooking?" Chloe asked, stuffing another bite of blueberry pancake in her mouth. Nathan shrugged, flipping one in the pan. "You pick it up when your kids love blueberries and your wife cant cook for shit.." He chuckled, pursing his lips a bit after mentioning Danny.

"God.. I really hope I didn't fuck this up..." He murmured to himself, and you put a hand on his shoulder. "Things will work out, Nate.." You said, grabbing your keys from the hook.

"Where are you going?" Chloe asked, catching you around the midriff. You had already gotten dressed and were headed out for your weekly coffee date with Danny, hoping to understand her side of things and see if there was anything you could do.

"It's Wednesday, remember?" You said, leaning up and pecking her lips sweetly. "I'll be back in a bit, and then maybe we can finish what we started earlier.."

She nodded and let go, and you waved to the both of them as you left the apartment. As you reached the coffee shop you were greeted by Danny, who immediately pulled you into a bone-crushing hug. You were surprised to see the kids weren't there though. As if she could read your mind, when she pulled away she explained that she got her friend Mel to watch them.

The two of you sat and talked for a long time, both of you going through a few coffees each before you both stood up to leave. As it turns out, as per usual, they fought over something stupid, which led to some pretty harsh things being said, by both parties. Danny regretted saying those things, but she didn't know if she was ready to let Nathan back in.

"Danielle Prescott, your husband loves you more than anything in the world... and he wants to come back home." You said as you hugged goodbye. She sighed and nodded. "I know.."

You gave her a soft smile and gathered the coffee you had gotten for Chloe in one hand and your phone in the other. Your smile vanished however when a sharp pain pierced your head, and you doubled over, dropping the coffee to press a hand against your forehead.

"Agh!" You cried as you shut your eyes tight. Then, just like that, the pain disappeared. You opened your eyes and looked around, confused. Everything was the same, except.. not.

Danny sat at the table across from you, sipping her tea as three children ran around her, making her the center of their game. It took you a moment to recognize them. Tommy looked like his father, but Danny's eyes shone bright in his face. He wasn't a toddler anymore.

What surprised you more was the little girl nipping at his heels, with bouncing waves of fiery red hair flying around her face, looking ever the clone of her mother if there ever was one. Baby Y/N... This- this wasn't happening, you were hallucinating again.

The sun was shining down on you, all was well, so why was there an off feeling in your gut? There was a tug on your pant leg. You looked down to see a little girl looking up at you, she couldn't have been more than five. Realization dawned on you.

The little girl from your coma.

"Mommy, Tommy and Y/N wont let me play too!" She looked close to tears. You were still in shock yourself, you felt as though you were about to cry too. You bent down to her height, reaching for her in disbelief. Thinking you were going in for a hug, she leaped into  your arms, and you gasped.

She felt.. solid. Real. You could feel her little heartbeat pounding in her chest, and it brought tears to your eyes. You accepted the hug, wrapping your arms around her and kissing top of her head.

The two of you stood there for a few moments before she leaned over and whispered something in your ear. "Wake up, Mommy.."

You jolted as you were brought to reality, breathing heavily as you took your hand off your head. "Y/N? Y/N oh my god are you okay? What happened?" Danny asked, helping you steady yourself. Your hands shook as you reached up and swiped the blood dripping from your nose.

"Shit! I'm going to go get some napkins just wait here!" Danny called, running into the shop. You collapsed into one of the chairs at the table you had just been sitting at, and took a moment to process it all.

That wasn't a hallucination.. that was real. What the actual fuck.
