I've been waiting outside forever, trying to see where Magnus's car is. Since I needed to learn how to drive, my parents weren't here, Dylan and Aubrey are two crazy to even teach, Keeley is busy studying and Magnus 'kindly offered' to help me to drive. A loud roar of engine came from the end of the street. The car pulled up in front of me, and Magnus rolled down his windows.

"Shall we get started?" Magnus said while he motioned me to come sit in the drivers seat.

"Um yeah, sure. I still can't believe you would let me drive in this, what if I crash?"

"Oh well, it's got insurance and you won't crash because I'm the best teacher. Even ask Georgie!" I roll my eyes. I touch the cool leather of the car, enjoying the leather feel around my palms. Magnus smirks and that's when he starts teaching me.

After a couple of hours of driving, I got the hang of the whole driving thing.

"Thanks," I mumble.

"All good! You want to grab some food I'm quite hungry." Magnus says. I would've agreed, but Keeley invited me over to dinner.

"Um, I'm just..." I couldn't finish my sentence because rain started pouring down, drumming the metal roof of the car.

"Well I guess we're stuck, this is going to be awkward but if you want to swap seats I could probably drive you back home?" I nodded, we tried to swap seats without touching each other. I kept on bumping my head on the car roof, which made Magnus laugh.

"Shut it."

After what felt like hours we switched. Magnus turned the car on and drove through the storm like it was nothing. We reached my apartment, then all hell broke loose, it started hailing and storming.

"Magnus, you can't drive back in this weather! Park underground and come and stay in my apartment until the weather has died down." I know it was a stupid thing to do, but I didn't want to be a bitter ex. Magnus nodded, we parked and raced our way to the warmth of my apartment.

"Nice place," Magnus whistled.

"Thanks it was a present from my parents. You know I did hate them for keeping me locked up and stuff like Rapunzel, but they did give me freedom when I left and helped me pay for my college fees."

"Yeah, I know what you mean. You're parents always wanted you to have it best, and here you are studying your dream degree, in an amazing school. You were locked away, Rapunzel," he joked and stepped closer to me. I was fixing a hot drink for us, and I saw him move closer and I tensed.

"But you know what, didn't Rapunzel get found by a oh so handsome prince?" His arms were around my waist, while I held our hot chocolates. I coughed and separated us.

"Yeah, um, do you want some hot chocolate?" I said awkwardly motioning for him to sit on the other single seat couch.

"Sofia, if I could explain, please, I don't want you to hate me forever especially whats going to happen in the future between us. "

"Woah what?" I couldn't believe what he said.

"Well as you know our family are pretty close. And after seeing both of us last year, they approved of us and they wanted us to get you know." His eyes fell on the floor.

"You wanted them to control our choice of marriage to each other?" I blurted out.

"No! Our parents may seem that they have no heart but trust me, they wanted both of our consent." I didn't believe what I was hearing.

"So about a couple of days before the formal, your parents and mine, talked to me about marrying you, how we would be even closer and that they could see something genuine between us. I liked you for sometime, but I'd didn't know if I loved you. So I said I would get back to them."

"Oh. So is that why everything at the formal, Bronte, you trying to get close to me again?"

"No! Certainly not, the formal was just a stupid thing and Bronte means nothing to me, I promise you. I didn't ask for Bronte to do all those things. I couldn't even comprehend anything that night because everything happened so quick. When you left I tried my best to chase you. It hurt, not having you and that was when I realised.." his words were cut short. A huge clap of thunder shook the sound around us.

My phone started ringing, oh no; Keeley!

"Um hey, Keeley? Rain check?"
