Credit to scarlettpeony on Tumblr. --------------- It has always been one of my favourite Sailor Moon fan theories - that the Sailor Quartet are the daughters of the Inner Senshi by the Shitennou. One of the things I've always enjoyed playing at with this theory is the idea that the jewels in the girls' tieras and their colour schemes match the canonical colours of the Shitennou's stones as stated in Act 11. Sailor Vesta: "Jadeite comes in a variety of colours*." Sailor Juno: "Nephrite has a deep green colour." Sailor Pallas: "The blue-violet stone is Tanzanite, also called Blue Zoisite" Sailor Ceres: "The pink spodumene is Kunzite. It is pale and beautiful." *It is worth noting that deep red is one of the colours that is exclusive to Jadeite and cannot be found in Nephrite.
