Time: 10 am

Upon knowing that the crew had been forcefully hired by Red, Red asked both Ash and Serena for a meet-up.

"Out of all six of my disciples, both of you must be really disappointed in me right?" Red questioned the two.

"Not really, after thinking through the previous night, I feel more disappointed in myself. I still remember you taught us, being a con artist, we must be selfish." Ash replied.

Shortly afterwards, Serena replied, "I am not only disappointed, my heart is groaning in pain. It is like a knife being stabbed into my heart. Red, I dont treat you as my master, I treat you more like a father, yet you could betray your own daughter."

"You cannot put it this way, I just want to make use of your talents." Red said.

"So you are saying that, we are very dumb into believing whatever you said. And oh you said one of your biggest regret is not being able to win Scott on the table right, sound very true!" Serena exclaimed her inner thoughts.

Red then explained himself, "That statement is true, let me explain, I grew up since young as a con artist. Slowly, I gathered my wealth, millions then billions, then trillions, living from an apartment to a mansion, I had girls, money, everything. However, my desire to win was so strong, I really want to win Scott. The more I bet with him, the more I lose. I lost everything. Now that I am old already, it is time for me to face the reality, it is impossible for me to win Scott."

Red added, shifting the attention to the two, "But both of you are different, you two are still young, there is more time to turn around. You two both share the same strong desire to win as me, just because of that very desire you two had wasted a very good love relationship. Love in fact isnt like a gambling table, you two can win at the same time, dont need to separate a winner from the loser. Just give in to each other."

"But Red, Ash doesnt want to," Serena exclaimed her feelings and shot a look at Ash.

Ash, feeling guilty, glanced away from the other.

Serena then carried on, "Red, you dont have to care about us. I really hate this winner." as she walked away

Red cried out, "Serena!"

Serena did not look back at all and continue her walk.

Red then focused his attention onto the remaining person and apologize to him, saying, "I tried my best."

Ash replied in a reassuring tone, "It's okay, I know you tried."

Red let out a sign of regret and sadness, "When you two are meant for each other, you two just dont know how to treasure it, cherish it."

Ash remained positive and said, "Red, I have to go now too, bye."

All of a sudden, Serena, still walking, received a phone call from the local police station, stating something about her brother, Sean.

She thought 'What is he thinking??? What trouble did he cause this time???'

Upon arriving at the entrance, her younger brother noticed Serena and called her name. Unlike other caring sisters, she had enough of his nonsense. Everytime, he would get himself involved in fights or crimes that were not even his fault, ending himself in the police stations.

Before she could ask him anything, he instead asked her, "Did you see Ash? I saw him the other time in town but I didn't manage to catch him!"

"Really?" Serena lied, "I have not seen him for quite some time."

Sean was fast to reply, "Huh, cannot be, I thought you two were together?"

Sean in fact was a great admirer of Ash and he literally shipped both Ash and Serena, however, up till now, he still did not know what had happened between the two.

Serena replied no as an answer and quickly hailed a taxi for his younger brother. Before Sean could ask more questions, he found himself being pushed by her sister into the passenger seat. She said, "You should be going back home in Kalos."

"Please send him to the airport, thanks!" she instructed the driver and even gave him some money."

Serena heaved a sign of relief after sending his annoying brother away. Sure, Sean could be a bit stubborn at times, but he still listened to her sister.

After sending Sean the troublemaker away, Serena decided to do some brisk walk. As she slowly made her way to the nearest waterside, intending to feel the breeze. However, she felt someone was following her behind. Thinking that he or she was just going the same route, Serena carried on walking but at a faster pace.

As she continued her path of direction, the person behind also speeded up, which affirmed her thoughts.

All of a sudden, she turned around causing the person to make a complete stop. It was a him. He was still a distance away from her. For him, he knew he had no way to run. It was obvious that he was the only one around to have followed Serena.

Serena questioned, "Who are you? Why are you following me?"

"Well, I am Inspector Calem, you see Madam, I am the police officer in charge of your brother's case," Calem self-introduced.

"Ok, then what's wrong? Why do you have to keep following me?" Serena interrogated further.

"Oh your brother is fine, I am just worried about you!" Calem explained.

"What about me, Sir!" Serena replied sarcastically.

"Serena, I just want to warn you about Ash. Ash isn't a good person. I just dont understand why must you follow him! As an old friend, I just want to..." Calem tried to explain but was cutted by Serena.

"I am enough of your crap, ever since I introduced Ash to you, you have had this negative impression of him. What is wrong with you?" Serena exclaimed

Calem then took Serena's hand and explained, "That's because I am concerned about you, I want to take care of you..."

Again, he was cut off and Serena managed to shake off his grip, "Dont touch me and you dont have the right to tell me what I should do in my life!"

"Ser-"

"Dont ever call my name again!"

Venue: Dawn's room
Time: 7.30pm

I must prove to my dad that I can play cards as well as he does. I want to help him!

Dawn continued to perform her tricks several more times that she had learnt previously from Gary. Not long after, she heard the door creaked open. She knew instinctively the person is her dad.

Like any teenager, she happily skipped down the stairs and exclaimed, "Dad, see my tricks!"

Lucky, Scott was in a good mood and watched all my card tricks I showed.

However, Scott had no comments which made her worried. Then Scott made a conditional offer, "If you could multiply ten thousand dollars by 100 times by yourself at Veges Casino, I will let you in."

100 times, that is from ten thousand to one million, insane amount, but Dawn, think about it, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, there isn't any other choice. I have to take up this challenge!"

"Thanks dad, I will make you proud!" Dawn shouted happily and ran away.

After she left the house, Scott thought, This girl...
