Before the events occurring in the casino...
Venue: A random Starbucks
Time: 1.40pm
Two ladies were now taking a break from their long shopping spree at Starbucks. They had not been together as the younger of the two was busy with her studies for four years. The mother and daughter were having a light moment together until someone weird appeared.
"Hey, Dawn, what a surprise to see you here!" that someone exclaimed.
"You are?" the mother asked.
"Oh, he is my life-saver, uh no, he is just a friend," Dawn replied.
Before the mother could speak another word, that someone, Gary interrupted in a polite manner, "Welll, I did help her, but I don't think I saved your life."
"Anyways, you did help me," Dawn said as she blushed.
In Gary's left ear, there was an earpiece used to communicate with the whole team.
After talking for several minutes, Gary receives his next piece of instruction. "Gary, action!"
Upon command, Gary made his move first by acting as if he is about to fall onto the table. With a quick swipe onto the two coffee cups that the two ladies were drinking from, the contents of the coffee cups splashed onto the two innocent ladies, leading them to leap in fear as coffee stains are difficult to clean off.
Gary repeatedly said sorry although it is not on purpose. He offered them tissues but they insisted on going to the ladies.
Gary quickly took advantage of the situation and ran out of the Starbucks, holding something important on hand.
"Done," he spoke to his earpiece.
Soon, a van with the rest of his team came to pick Gary up.
Afterwards, another vehicle followed them. Drew asked worriedly, "Gary, there is someone following us!"
"Great, carry out Plan A!" Gary demanded.
Venue: Kanto Police Headquarters
Time: 1.30pm
An inspector arrogantly stomped his way into the meeting room. His team of officers had gathered in the room waiting for their next set of instructions.
After explaining his plan, the whole team quickly moved off from the headquarters. Calem said, "Go go go!!!"
Wearing civilian clothing to reduce suspicion, they quickly arrived at their respective positions to spy on their target.
Finally, their target moved.
"Make sure you stay close to him, don't let him get away!" Calem yelled.
"Yes, Sir!"
After several junctions of chasing and following, Calem started to second guess where the van was heading towards. It wasn't going towards the casino he thought it would. However, somehow the traffic light started to go out of favour of Calem. When the van crossed the junction, the light was orange. By the time their vehicle reached the traffic light, the driver could only brake and stop.
"Fuck you! Do you know how to drive!" Calem screamed and slammed the car seat in front of him, "Useless."
Venue: Casino top level
Time: 2.00pm
Upon winning Richard, Scott's right-hand man, Ash and May had been invited to his VIP room, the same room Ash remembered. However, this time, there is an audience, who followed them up. The two rivals settled down on the two ends of a long betting table while May stood behind Ash.
*Intense music*
"How do you want to bet?" Scott paused for a moment and carried on, "Ash!"
"Anything you wish," Ash calmly replied, "I'm just afraid I will win you and you will have no face to leave."
"Are you kidding me? You winning me! Dream on! There are so many people here, why would I not be able to leave" Scott replied laughing.
Ash continued, "But I am also scared if I am unable to change those chips into money when I win your money."
"My Scott's holdings is famous for having plenty of cash. How big do you want to bet?"
The next moment, two guys wearing black sunglasses entered the room with one large shiny silver case, one of whom then placed it on the betting table. He even opened them up for Scott to see.
The crowd went "WAH" as they had definitely not seen this amount of money in their lives. Ash proceeded, "Inside, there is 5 billion."
Scott remained his cool and acted as if the money isn't a lot. He ordered his men to count the cash Ash brought, then whispered to Richard to bring 5 billion here as soon as possible while Ash on the other end of the table was grinning away.
While waiting for Richard to return, Ash was offered a few puffs as compliments from Scott. Ash was obviously enjoying his time as smoke came out of his mouth.
Very soon, Richard returned and whispered to Scott.
"HAHA, are you kidding me? Such a big casino and yet you don't have 5 billion bucks?" Ash exclaimed loudly causing some of the audience to chuckle. Ash added, "But I am not in a hurry, take your time."
Just then, someone cell phone rang. It was Scott's. "Excuse me."
Once Scott slowly listened to the call, the man on the other end quickly explained, "Mr Scott,"
"Calem, senior inspector."
The call went on, "We have received reliable intel that Mrs Scott and your daughter are targets of the kidnappers."
Scott quickly became more alert and looked at Ash, whom he suspected was behind all the kidnapping.
Calem continued, "But, Mr Scott, do rest assured, we have acquired the kidnappers' detailed plan. We are confident that we can catch them all. As for the details, I cannot reveal too much. All I can say as of now is do not call the two of them, in case the kidnappers become aware of us."
Scott replied him, "I know what to do, thanks!"
After Scott ended the call and placed his cell phone down on the table, Scott laughed, "I thought you have what kind of real talent, that is capable of winning me."
Scott, deep down, knew all these were definitely done by Ash but he could not risk the life of his loved ones. If he were to make one wrong move, he would regret his entire life.
Venue: Van
Time: 2.10pm
"Clemont, faster!" Gary exclaimed.
"Don't disturb me, I am trying my best."
Clemont was currently manipulating the GPS locations of the two cell phones Gary took.
"One more sec!" Clemont exclaimed, "DONE!"
"Great!" Gary replied, "Drew, go back to where we came from."
"Roger!"
Venue: Police Vehicle
Time: 2.10pm
After ending the call with Scott, the team is currently following the GPS position of Mrs Scott's cell phone.
"Clever idea, sir!"
"No shit, since u cannot follow that van!" Calem replied in anger.
As they followed the GPS positioning, Calem grew more and more suspicious about their location. Soon, the team arrived at an abandoned home in a rural area. "Prepare to barge in and capture them!"
However, to their disappointment, no matter how much they search, no one could be uncovered. "DANG IT!" Calem shouted.
