Chapter 9: Jeremy's huge lie

The bell rang for break.

Britney stood up stretching. "Soooo? Who's number do you think I got?"

"Let's see....the guy from this morning?"

She nodded nonstop. "He's name is Kang Joon-Hee."

"What?! He's Korean?!" I looked over to Tae. He had a confused expression.

"Who's that?" Britney said curiously.

Before I could answer he stood up, "My name's Taemin Shin."

"Ohhh. I'm gonna sign up for Basketball club anyone with me?" said Britney.

"Me!" Shin ans I both said together.

"Great! Let's go!"

We then rushed to the basketball club and saw...uhh...Kang Joo-Hee? If I remember correctly. I looked at Britney. "Did you know he was signing up?"

"Nope. No idea but you know, basketball is the only way to get attention from anyone sooo...." she shrugged.

I then looked if Jeremy was there. Sadly I couldn't see a trace of him. We signed up for basketball, went to eat our lunch and talked to til the bell rang. I'm gonna skip all the details of the boring school day.

The bell rang for after school. Britney looked outside. "Awww sucks when it rains!" she complained. I then said I had things to do so I said goodbye to Taemin and Britney. I ran out to the gate to see if Jeremy will pop up. I had my hand over my head to cover myself from the rain until someone through a jacket over me from behind. "Idiot." it sounded like Jeremy. "Jeremy!" I turned and hugged him without thinking.

"Do you know how worried I was?!" I said to him angrily.

"Oh I'm sorry...I'm fine now..." Britney then held a huge umbrella over us. "Gee you guys should go to drama club or something." Luckily the umbrella fit all three of us. I tried to pull away but Jeremy wouldn't move. "Ahaha...Britney... Go on without me..."
"But you can't be absent tomorrow!" Taemin then came along and gave Britney an umbrella. "Extra if u don't want her to catch a cold."
"Geez Thanks! You're so prepared." Britney gave me the umbrella then walked away giving me a wink. I rolled my eyes.

"Listen Jeremy...we're gonna catch a cold...let's take the bus to my house and uhh....dry ourselves..." He nodded and finally let go with a smile. I was confused but I decided not to ask him why he was smiling.

We got to my house, opened the door and left the umbrella open in the garage to dry. "I'm back!" I shouted. Mira walked to the door where we were standing. "Welcome ba- WHAT IS MY BROTHER DOING HERE?!" She said with a shock.

He smirked. "You wouldn't tell me where you lived so she was the only way."

"OH MY WORD I FORGOT TO TELL LINA." she then sighed.

I was so confused."What?" she then saw we were soaked. "Go shower there's like three bathrooms...I'll explain later." I went for a shower, dried my hair and came out. I saw Miya and Jeremy waiting for me. I think.

"Sit." Miya then said. I sat down.

She sighed then explained that her brother loves her cooking and all his lunch since first grade was made by her, after she got engaged she refused to tell him my aunt's address because she didn't want to cook for him. I nodded "I see..."

"SO I'M MOVING IN!" Jeremy shouted happily. I jumped.

"Ok..WAIT WHAT?!"

Miya sighed. "I spoke to my mom and your aunt and the agreed since both of you go to the same school..."

I then glared at Jeremy. He made me worry. I walked to my room and slammed the door. Miya looked ay Jeremy. "What did you do?" I could hear Miya say.
