Going to the lab

The 4 of us walked out of the ruins chatting as we did so. Well the two kids were the ones doing most of the talking as they told me about the underground, I would just ask questions here and there and toriel would add some more information when ever she felt it was needed. We went on like this for a while as I learned about the random things the kids talked about such as flowers, some of the people who lived there and what they did along with the 3 different climates they had there. Apparently we would have to go threw the part of the underground that had snow (how does it snow underground?) then threw some sort of marsh like land before hitting a volcano like land that even had lava (sounds safe to me, definitely where kids should go and play at). In the volcano like land is where the lab will be where this alphys and sans person worked.

After a while of talking we came to a big purple door that tori opened for us. As soon as the door was opened I was hit by cold air and a bit of snow. I shook off the bit of shock and followed the two kids out, jumping slightly when the the door closed with a bang when tori left. I wrapped my arms around myself to keep myself as warm as possible, yes I did have a jacket but it was not a jacket you would normally use for this kind of weather! Tori noticed my discomfort with the cold and gave me a apologetic look.

"Sorry about the cold my child but please put up with it just a bit longer."

I quickly flashed her a small smile to show I was alright. "Oh don't worry about it I'm fine."

Tori returned the smile but did not seem to convinced with my words. "If you get to tired or feel worse please let me know."

I nodded as if saying I would as we walked threw the snow. After a bit tori lead us to what I assumed from what chara and asriel told me was the river person. Chara and asriel quickly jumped onto the boat and took there seats. Tori got on as well before she helped me in and sat me down by her. I gave her a small thankful smile which she returned before asking the 'river person' to take us to Hot lands.

The river person quickly began to guide the boat to hot lands. I watched the two kids reach there hands into the water ever now and then to splash each other and smiled softly before I chuckled. I was about to join in on the little game when the boat came to a stop and everyone began to get off. I tried to get off by myself but tori insisted on helping me since I was hurt. Once we were all off of the boat I glanced around and emidently noticed a large building with the words 'lab' on it. Tori noticed me looking at it and chuckled softly. "Kinda hard to miss is it not?"

I chuckled as well. "Yes it is rather hard to miss that, is it where alphys and sans are?"

Tori paused before she began to walk to the building with me and the kids in tow. "Hopefully yes, alphys lives in there so I'm almost sure she will be...but..." She gave a small shrug. "who knows she may have gone out for a bit..."

I nodded in understanding as I watched as she knocked on the door. Nothing happened for a bit and I was just beginning to open up my mouth to say something when the door quickly began to open. Reviling a small yellow dinosaur or lizard like monster. It looked to be female and judging by the lab coat and glasses she had on and information chara and asriel had given me on the walk here I assumed she was alphys.

I stood where I was as tori stepped forward and chatted with alphys. They were keeping there voices down but I'm almost positive tori was filling alphys in on my head injury. After a minute of them talking alphys looked at me and smiled nervously. "H.hello...I.im alphys nice t.t.to meet you."

I smiled in return and shook off my shock of seeing another monster as I held out my free hand to shake hers which she quickly took. "Nice to meet you as well alphys, I'm y/n."

After the little greeting was over alphys quickly took us into the lab and gave us a quick tour on the way to a hospital like room. we'll the tour was more for me really since I'm sure the others already knew everything in the lab. Once in the room alphys had me sit on the bed that was in the middle of the room as she began to ask me questions as she looked over my head wound. I answered her questions to the best of my ability. After about a good half hour alphys stepped back. "W.well other then the wound on your h.head and some scrapes a.and bruises y.you also have a c.concussion. Nothing big! If you j.just take it easy for a few days o.ok?"

I nodded. "Ok sure thing alphys, thanks!"

Alphys smiled. "N.now let's get you patched up." I nodded and held still as she began to take care of my head wound. As she did I glanced around the room and noticed that tori and the kids were gone. "Hey alphys? Where's tori?"

Alphys paused her work and looked around the room. "Hum...she p.probably went to another room with the k.kids to keep them o.out of the way."

"You brahs talking about tori and the two kids?" Alphys and I jumped in surprise when we herd the new voice. I turned to see who it was.
