"What was that about?" I ask Jacques once we get to my house.
"Nothing." I can tell he's hiding something.
"Tell me!" I stomp my foot.
"Tell you what?"
"What you're hiding?"
"I took a snickers out of your backpack while we where walking."
"You thief!"
He smirks. "And I ate it."
"Didn't you beat up Alex for that?"
"He smashed the kids food on the ground."
"You ate mine!"
"At least I didn't waste it."
"Yeah." I cross my arms. "Anything to make you feel better. You owe me a Snicker's."
"Fine." He rolls his eyes. "I gotta go."
"Home right."
"Yea."
"Tell your mom I said hi."
A guilty look passes over hi face but he quickly replaces it.
"OK bye-bye."
"Bye."
