Alex's

I stared at the pink suitcase. It would totally be my mum to have a pink suitcase. Its not like I can dye it black. Or decorated it so its less vivid. But right now it stands out like a sore thumb in the almost deserted car park. As far as I can see no one is looking forward to the trip. People with bored tired faces where filling the car park. 5am in the morning did seem pretty pointless. The sun wasn't even rising yet but it was light. Just enough to see where you were heading even with the misty fog. I stood at the edge with my headphones in and my hoodie up. Ignoring anyone and everyone like they did me.
If there had been sun I would have stuck a pair of glasses on. The trip wasn't even a skiing trip to Austria or a beach holiday to California. No its some place called Balgay in Dundee Scotland. It was an adventure type of holiday. With abseiling and pizza and orienteering which will probably been in the rain. Nothing quite says school trip quite like rain and soggy pants.
I had checked to see what there was there and as far as I'm concerned the big duck which is there only roadside attraction is not going to be an attraction to me. Not to mention we had to take a long ass coach journey with some company which I had never heard off gave me even bigger doubts. After all a good review was something you wanted to see not one that was empty. In my opinion that meant hell on wheels, which probably explains the price. I was not a happy bunny.
I had tried to wheedle my way out of it but Luke kept going on about it and Mum wouldn't listen. She thought it would be good for me. 'Life's all about new experiences' she had ranted on. So end of I was stuck going. Seems like other parents through it would be a good thing, after all nearly the whole of my class and a couple of others from the other classes where here. Surely the whole of us could to fill two whole coaches not just one.
In fact I was surprised to see Sienne and her other sidekicks here ; not to mention their sparkle suitcases in tow with them. They seem to be the only ones flawless right at this time of the morning. I'm guessing they weren't forced to come and a spend two weeks with out parents struck as a golden opportunity. Except to me. I like spending time with my mum, especially when she's not staring at me like a hawk because I'm sitting alone doing nothing.
But that's my place in life. I'm the school loner and I like it that way. Sure Luke and I have a friendship thing going on but we both preferred it a secret. I looked down at the floor again. A whole nine hours on a coach wasn't going to be the highlight of my trip. Sitting alone and being stuck on there with out being able to much was scream worthy. Thank god my iPod was fully charged otherwise I would feel impending doom. Hopefully they also have a place to plug in as with out it I might die first.
The sooner we got on the coach and left the sooner we would be back here. The was certain places on the coach to sit. The back was for the populars like Sienne Winters and her crew. And probably the some members of the football team. Well except Calum. He might have been on the football team but that doesn't make a geek popular. Then you had the middle people. Ones like Pia or Ashton. They are consider cool but not popular.
You normally have the bad kids or the trouble makers next. After all they cant sit near the back but the teachers don't want them next to them. Then you have people that are geeky, new, uncool, loners and anyone else who is completely late. Then the teachers. I feel pretty sorry for Daley. She's new to this school and I have no doubt people will mess around and give her a nightmare. But then again it could make the trip beyond entertaining. I looked around to take in who I could see. There was about forty people here. I swear some people are going to end up sitting on the floor.
I though coaches only took twenty-five. People were beginning to load there suitcases into the hole. I guess I'm going to have to place mine in there too. Standing up I brushed off any dirt that had got on my skinny jeans. I questioned myself why I was wearing them but they seems suitable for a nine hour trip unlike rather small skirts and tank tops which some people where wearing. I'm sure the one sienne was wearing was short enough to reveal her ass cheeks if she bent too far forward.
Shoving my suitcase in the hole before anyone saw it and found out it was mine. Taking a seat near the front of the coach I was alone with a nice window view. 'Hey Luke come sit with us' Pia voice rang out from the back. Luke seem to look at me and then look at them, look at me again before heading on down. He looked seemed almost apologetic but hey what else could he do, without making his-self an outcast. A place he definitely wouldn't suit.
"Umm is this seat taken" a voice asked. I looked up to see a girl with long blonde hair and brown eyes looking at me. Carter Carson. She new. Having been here less than 3 days I was surprise to see she was on here. "Its free" I muttered back. She seem to take that as you can sit there since her body was their in under two seconds. "I'm Carter" She went to me. "Alex" I replied in a monotone voice. She seemed taken back but she still managed to talk on. She just didn't take the hint.
Just my luck. Nine hours with a chatter box. "Right then I think we have everyone. Can I please just double check. When I call out your name please can you say here or present" Daley asked. Thankfully this caused Carter to shut up. She hadn't even got that far when someone strolled on to the bus behind her making her jump. Quite entertaining seeing her gasp.
"Mr Clifford, so glad you could join us" she replied trying to control her nerves. "Really because then the pleasures all mine" He said sarcastically. "Please just take a seat so we can get going" she added. He seemed to walked forward and took the only available seat which was next to some guy name Calum. The geeky nerd guy. Pretty sure hes going to be dead by the end of the journey. Michael Clifford, the schools very own truant. Perfect match if you want a war on the coach. Or a someone who ended up with a death sentence.
Daley took to her seat and finally the coach rolled out of the parking lot. Turning up the volume on my headphones I turned to the side and looked out the window. I didn't dare glance back at Carter. Not even out of the corner of my eye I don't need to hear her relentless chat at six am in the morning
A/N on the side is the person who plays Alex. Please vote and possibly comment what you think so far x ?
