Pia's POV
I could barely believe my luck. I had ended up in a cabin with Sienne. Like thee Sienne Winters. If I played my cards right then I could be in with her group, perhaps even get better than Grace and Ella. Who where her main groupies. After helping her off the floor which hadn't exactly made her thank me. In fact it made her more pissed than ever, despite the futile attempts to calm her down. Thank heavens Daley didn't let her swap. It would have been worse had I ended up with another social loser. That new kid hadn't even been here for five seconds and she had already outcast herself.
Granted that she could apologise to Sienne and stop being friends with Alex then she could end up not in social suicide. Eating my pasta rather than complaining, I waited for an opportunity to butt into the conversation. "Can you actually believe Luke is sitting with them" Grace went. "If he wants to end up there than he can but believe me hes only getting one chance to return" Sienne retorted flicking a piece of honey brown hair over her shoulder. "You never know, he might be finding out a weakness so we know when they could humiliate their-selves" I piped up taking a chance.
Many people sat their stared as if I was talking nonsense, only Sienne looked liked she was playing it over. "Possibly. But we all know Luke's like a puppy. One of them has probably made up a series of lies and he's fallen for it" Sienne went with her two nodding dogs agreeing, "But you can do me a favour". "What" I questioned jumping at the chance to do something that might gain a few status points. I had a gut feeling that I was going to lose some.
"Keep any eye on them. I don't trust that new kid. I get a bad feeling about her. Don't you?" She asked the rest who chorused replies of totally, or so right. "Of course" I said instantly. This was going to be so easily. I could even manipulate some of what was said to put a shining light on some things. I could even try to convince her that Luke was totally into her. Which was obviously not true no matter how much she wished it. He was perfectly happy to drop from the top to the bottom. And she knew it. As much as anyone else. He had been incredibly distant and something told me it was to do with these losers.
I just had to prove it. Much to some's dismay Daley ordered us back in to our cabins. I beckon for Sienne to come with but she just shrugged a hand. I guess her little spat with Daley hadn't even slightly affected her. I wouldn't be so defiant. Sitting down, I tried to not look interested in the conversations going on and focus. Thankfully everyone bar the new girl and Micheal was quiet. "If you haven't already please read through the rules and timetables in your packs of the dorms. They include some of the activities that some of you might not be able to do so we need to be made aware of this as soon as possible. We also ask you to respect the rules given. The wonderful people here do no have time to be chasing up missing students who have choose to stay in bed. Those who choose to not follow can expect a nice day hanging out with me which will include extra chores along with work".
Great. That literally would make sense, after all who would want anyone to have fun on a school trip. Frowning I watched as Carter whispered something to Calum. Great now she was talking to the schools highest achieving nerd. To bad he studied so much otherwise he could actually be considered cool. Not that I would admit that to anyone. To get where I was had been enough trouble. Practically fighting tooth and nail dragging myself from the bottom to the middle and that wasn't even enough. Was it because I wasn't a size 8? Or because I did attempt to do school work rather than weasel my way out of it.
I didn't truly know. Dismissing us, I followed everyone back to the cabin. If I wasn't asked to basically be a spy then I would have disappeared to another cabin. Plus I needed to see what was on the agenda. I had a terrible fear of heights. They made me feel completely sick and dizzy and I knew that abseiling was one of the activities listed. I just hoped it was towards the end rather than the beginning. At least then I could fake cramps or something so no one knew. Showing weakness in this hell of a school could literally send you tumbling to the bottom and as far as I am aware that's not a place I actually want to be.
Out of the corner of my eye I could see a group of my friends who I'd rather be with. They seemed to be laughing and enjoying themselves why I'm stuck with this moody lot. I'm not even sure what sort of friendships were forming. Calum Hood and Michael Clifford being civil and talking. Surely he should have shoved him to the ground or done something that was worth his so called bad persona reputation. And Luke and Alex looked far to cosy for two people who have supposed to have just met. Carter seemed to be mingling with in them. Then Ashton seemed to be walking beside Luke and speaking to Alex. Had the coach we been on gone through some sort of dimension and half of us had some super freaky mind swap?
I only hope that was the case and not what is more likely. That Daley was trying to change people into her idea of a better human being. I doubt it could happen but if it was a social experiment it would make complete sense in how so many different individuals ended up in one cabin.
