Ch 2. Confusion

Sebastian POV:

I was done for the evening cleaning about the young master's manor. Scolded and instructed the servants to clear up the mess they made until my ear caught 3 small knocks coming from the entry door. I unlocked a door and opened to see Grelle standing before me, soaked from the rain. Why is she alone here? It's pouring out and she's here on her own. I do hope nothing happened... I thought and allowed the reaper to enter "Grelle? What are you doing out this late? And," he took off his tail coat and placed it over Grelle's shoulders ", you'd catch a cold. Do come with me and I'll prepare you a hot cup of tea and you can settle in for the night"

Hours passed since I allowed Grelle to stay, with my young master fully aware, he allowed me to assist Grelle to her full needs until she is fully healed. Grelle slightly shivered as she was cuddled up in the demon's given bed and was quite examining the note once more. Sebastian looked at her as he sat down besides her and was concerned "are you alright? You haven't said a word since your arrival. Is something bothering you, my dear red?" Grelle snapped out of her mind and handed the note to Sebastian "this is just curious to me, Sebas-chan" Bassy was a name that annoyed him, but deep down, he missed that name. If Grelle were to call him 'Sebas-chan' then she must have something in her thoughts.

I took the note from her. Read it a few times before speaking "who sent this?" she shook her head and sighed "I want to know who sent it. I'm curious to know who this mysterious man is. Goodness, maybe a mysterious lover?" I recall Grelle shying away from love since her devastating breakup with William went. Sighing, I looked at her and back to the note "whoever this guy is, who knows who he might be. This could be a set up, Grelle. It'll be best if you don't go about seeing this person."

Grelle's POV

I am curious who this guy is. Since I returned back to the dispatch, a few people asked how I was and since I got this, a mysterious man wishes to speak with me? This is suspicious as Sebas-chan implied but I should go ahead and see him. "do rest up and settle down for the night." Was the last thing Sebastian said as he left me lone in his room as he went to prepare for the next day. 2 hours went by, and I remained awake until everything was silent. I changed into spare clothes I once brought to keep myself comfortable and loose. Quietly grabbed the key and note, glanced at the door and windows for any sign of him and whispered "I'm sorry, Sebas-chan. But i have to go"

The note said it'll work on any door, right? Unfortunately it didn't say that, so i decided to test it out on Sebastian's door. I placed in the key and heard it unlock and before I know it, the door unlocked to a college dorm room. I stepped in, closed the door behind me and pocketed the key with the note. Thankfully the dorm was empty, I lied down, took a deep breath and closed my eyes for a while.
