New Play Date

Ch 16 all nighter

   Normal POV
Grelle spent the night awake. She thought of her tea time and mini conversation with Shiemi. Still awake, her emerald eyes gazed around the darkened office and sighed, looking for something to do until her host awakens. Getting up, the reaper quietly walked up towards the desk to see a sleeping dog, but it wasn't anywhere in sight huh? I could've sworn Mepphy was resting behind here her eyes wondered to the side of the desk and seen a small green hamster sleeping. She gasped softly and admired the small being "so cute..." she said in a quiet whisper "Only when he's asleep, Amaimon could only look cute then~" Ms. Sutcliff quickly jumped and yelped but tried not to waken the green being and shook her head "stop that..." she only teased the demon and hugged him tightly "you and your jumpscaring tricks..." Mephisto chuckled as he snapped his fingers only to bring the light on to dim the room and returned the hug "couldn't sleep, my dear?~" Grelle blinked a bit before answering the demon, she only remained awake thinking for a while.

"Ooh~ stayed awake while having tea with a student~ no invite~" Mephisto said as he took a bite from a scone and later took a sip of tea. Grelle nodded after taking a sip of tea "I just wanted a breather of everything. Somehow this key you gave me brought me to Ms. Shiemi's garden. But she was awfully sweet to have me spend a few hours there" Mephisto blinked and smiled softly "I'll have to thank her for keeping you company for the time being" as the sun began to rise, Mephisto sat besides the reaper while playing with the green pet and Grelle lightly pawed his hand away "leave him, he's trying to sleep" the demon grinned and shook his head "he was already awake, my dear red" the demon king of time played about with the pet quietly for a moment and the reaper smiled. Mephisto spoke before her "I'm going somewhere on my own for today. I'll have Amaimon here watch over you or the Okumura twins" the reaper blinked and looked at him "Mephisto?" The man smiled and handed the being to her "it'll only take a day, I promise not to go longer than that" the lady held onto the the green being, she looked at him "could I go along with you" Sir Pheles shook his head and smiled as they watched the sunrise "I'd rather you not. I don't want you worrying for my sake." With that Mephisto stood up and walked towards the door of his office "oh and Amaimon," the small being peeked up from Grelle's hand and jumped to the desk to look at the male "be kind to my guest." He unlocked the door and stepped to the other side. Grelle quickly glanced as he left, the room looked familiar. Gloomy. Candles. Where is he going? Was the last thing she thought as she stayed behind with Amaimon.
