Ch 18. The reapers

   Normal POV
Sebastian shook his head to Mephisto's request to show him around London. The butler excused himself and left back to the manor and left the demon king on his own. The white dressed man walked along the streets and his mind wrapped around one topic what happened on that day to my friend? His thoughts were interrupted when a smaller male ran into him and the demon looked at him confusedly. The smaller male looked shocked at him and had his lawnmower scythe ready "a demon..." Mephisto looked around, knowing he's the only one of his kind there, and shook his head "I don't see a demon anywhere~" the male, being Ronald Knox, sighed and shook his head "Spears Senpai isn't here for overtime and neither am I.." Sir Pheles grinned "I'm guessing you're a reaper too?~" Ronald blinked and knew he had to defend himself "and if I was?" The demon nodded and tipped his hat a bit "I knew you were, you have a strong scent of death on you. There's no doubt in it, a second reaper I met~" for a moment, Ronald shook his head and sighed "second reaper?"

That question came from no other than William as he grew impatient with Ronald's chatter with the demon "what are you doing interrupting our work, demon?" William asked adjusting his glasses and sighed irritably "well?" Mephisto smiled "I haven't done anything as of late." William didn't buy Mephisto's words and sighed "leave then.." The demon king smirked and shook his head "is that how you talk to people you just met?" Mephisto placed a finger on his goatee. Mephisto is one to play games and fool others. But this interested the demon. The demon asked but the two reapers didn't answer his question and just walked off "disgusting vermin"

The demon pulled out his phone after the reapers made their way from him. He sent a text message to Amaimon who was left in charge of the red headed shinigami that he would return a bit late, and the demon poofed in front of the two with a grin "that's not something nice to say to a man you just met~" before William could fend himself off with Ronald, Ronald shivered at the type of being Mephisto was and reminded him of a certain someone "he seems like senior Sutcliff..." the stern reaper eyed the boy and mentally agreed with him and the demon tilted his head "Senior Sutcliff?~ oh! You mean my dearest friend~" that shocked the two and annoyed William "that imbecile had to set foot on a demon. A high ranked rat..." Spears looked at Ronald and sighed "honestly, the one time everyone thought that moron did something right since his arrival back to work 3 months back, turned out to be another stupid game." The two began walking away questioning the demon's presence and Mephisto let out a cheerful smirk, taking out his pink phone and immediately called his brother. "Is she with you?" The voice on the other line answered with a yes "tell her. She has work to be done here~ I'll return in nightfall Japan time~" with that he hung up and escorted himself away.
