Talk, talk and some more talking.

*Connor*

"Whoa, what's wrong?" I ask concerned. "Nothing, just...nothing." May said. Percy rubbed her shoulder. I knew something was going on, but if she wanted to keep it a secret, I'll let her keep it. "Ok, just remember, capture the flag after dinner." I said and walked out. I felt bad for May. She was a sweet girl, and by the looks of it she was having a rough life. I walked to the arena and picked up a dagger. I wasn't really good with daggers, so thats what practice is for.

*May*

I walked out of Percy's cabin after I knew my eyes weren't red anymore. "Bye Percy, and thanks for letting me stau here for a  while." I say once I'm walked out on the porch. "No problem, are you sure you can handle capture the flag yet?" Percy asked me. "I think I'm as ready as I'll ever be, and to tell you the truth, with all the things that I have to run away from or will kill me at any turn, its pretty darn ready." I said and winked at him. He smiled and said "Who are you going to side with?" He asked. "You of course, and plus, I've heard Athena children ALWAYS have a plan." I said and smiled.

Plus, the Hermes cabin is paired with Athena, Poseidon, Aphrodite (who do nothing) and now Artemis. So i'll see Connor. I thought. "Hey, if it's my Wise Girls plan, then were for sure to win." He said. I smiled at him and said "so I've heard." "Hey!" I heard a voice behind me say. I turned and saw Annabeth running up. "There's a problem, I think Chiron drank some of Dakota's cool-aid!" Annabeth said like it was a big deal to drink cool-aid. "What?" I asked them really confused.

Percy just groaned and said "Dakota adds about 3 pounds of sugar to his cool-aid. If someone drinks it their on a sugar-high for like, a week." "EW, I can't even think about what that tastes like." I said. "I don't really want to know either." Percy said coming out his door and closing it. "C'mon, we gotta go help Chiron." Percy said and started after Annabeth who had started running. "Well, I guess Im coming too." I mutter and run after them.

When we get there Chiron is swaying back and forth as if he were on a boat, and was staring at is hand in front of his face. "Uh, he looks more like he's drunk than on a sugar high." "Oh, did I mention he had some wine?" Connor says coming into sight from behind Chiron. "I've been trying to get him to sit down for the last five minutes, it just won't work." he says. I walk forward and take Chirons hands. "C'mon Chiron, I think its time for a nap." I say in a soothing voice. "Ok." He says back and I pull him upstairs to his bed. 

After he finally falls asleep (after I sung him five songs, and he commented that my voice was pretty) I open the door slowly and walk out, being very careful not to wake him up again. I looked over and saw Connor standing there leaning against the wall. "You have a pretty voice." He says and smiles. "Thanks, but its not that good." I say. "Percy and Annabeth went back to their cabins, I told them you had it under control." He says changing the subject completely.

"Ok, I better go and put the few things I have, away in the Artemis cabin." I say and start to walk down the stairs. Before I can make it down half way, I have arms grasped around me. "Whoa, Connor." I say trying not to fall over. "What are you doing?" I ask him. "Just giving you a hug." he said and pulled away. that reminded me of Ray, he would always do that to me when I least expected it, and would say that exact same thing. I felt a tear run down my face. "Whoa, Hey, what's wrong?" Connor asks and wipes the tear away with his finger.

"That's what my boyfriend used to say." I tell him.

*Connor*

When she said 'Used to say' I figured that he had dumped her. But as her tears grew so that there were more and more I started to wonder about that theory. She sniffled and look up at me in the eyes. "He died right before the doctor and I crash landed here." She said. That must be what she was crying about in Percys cabin. I thought. "Im sorry May, I didn't mean to make you sad." I say and step up another step to wipe away some more tears.

Before I could do anything thought she leaned forward and kissed my cheek. "Thank you for worring about me Connor, but I can handle it, I've gone through a lot." She says. I come forward and hug her. "I know your tough, I have caught onto that." I say. Percy comes throught the doors and says "Whats taking you guys- whoa, should I leave you alone?" he askes looking at us. May pulls away and shakes her head, "Just a consoling hug." She explains quickly.

"Ok." Percy says. As he opened the door the conch horn blew for dinner. I grabbed Mays hand and said, "Cmon dinner!"  She ran after me and out the door. Percy had already started walking to the dining pavilion. "Cmon Connor, let me go!" May yells laughing. I spun her around a little. We both got dizzy and fell down, both laughing our heads off. "C'mon you five year olds, it's time for dinner." Percy says laughing a little at our fall. I get up and help May up, I wipe down the back of her blouse that has some dirt on it.

I wiped the dirt off myself and May and I started walking again. "I think you still have some dirt on you." She says. "Where?" I ask looking down at my shirt. "There." She says and points at my face. She laughs and runs away before I can catch her. I run after her and quickly catch up to her. "GOTCHA!" I yell as I grab May from behind. She laughs and says "You got me, you got me, now put me down." I set her carefully back on the ground and we walk the rest of the way to the dining pavilion.

When we got there I walked over and sat at my table while May waited for Mr.D to tell him she didn't have a table to sit at. "I would like to welcome Day Weed." "Its May Reed." May says to Mr.D. He just shrugs and picks up a diet coke can. I watch as May walks up to Mr.D to tell him she has no table. All of a sudden a table appeared next to Zeus' table and Mr.D said "There's your table."

May walked over and sat down, Jason eyeing her like it ticked him off, which it most likely did.
