The Threat Revealed

Authors Note: I'm sorry for being gone so long. Between school, trying to find work, and mental health issues, i just haven't really been up to doing this. I'm planning on doing maybe two more chapters. I'm not sure at the moment. Also, I'm doing something a little different with this chapter. If you have some thoughts on it please let me know what they are. It's good to be back!

The gems took a few minutes of discussing this with each other. Discussing the possible threat, but more importantly to them; discussing fighting strategies if Pink Diamond decided to attack them. After some time they unanimously agreed to go to the barn and hear her out. They used the warp pad and after a few moments were suddenly standing a short distance from the barn. They decided to draw their weapons and walk cautiously over to the barn where they saw Pink Diamond standing just outside of it in front of the entrance.

Steven told us about why you claim to be here. - Pearl (P)

You sound skeptical. I can understand that. I don't blame you considering what i've done to you. - Pink Diamond (PD)

You're darn right! What you did was horrendous and you should be shattered for this. Rose made a mistake in letting you go. - Amethyst (A)

You're right! I deserve it. And you can do whatever you want with me, but first you're going to need my help. There is a major threat to the Earth and we need to work together to defeat it! - PD

Steven told us there was some mysterious threat. So what is this threat. If there even is one. -P

It's called the Cluster. It's the result of a massive undertaking to fuse many gem shards together to create a massive gem that could destroy this world and any other it comes into contact with. It is currently beneath the surface of this planet still being formed. It is only a short matter of time now until it finishes, breaks free of it's hole down there, and destroy the world! - PD

HOLY SMOKES!!! -A

If this is true then we are in serious danger and we have our work cut out for us. - Garnet (G)

Wait a minute! Wait a minute! Let's not get a head of ourselves. Who's to say she's evening telling the truth. - P

Well... Steven seems to believe her. - A

(no offense, Steven) But who cares what Steven thinks!! This is Pink Diamond. Our enemy. Our nemesis. The bad gem! - P

What do you suggest we do then? Just ignore this because we hate her? - G

No, no... maybe we should play along for now and see if she's telling the truth or see what her real motives are for creating this story. - P
