6. Ivy not Ivan

Ivy lied in her bed scrolling through Instagram. She sighed getting up and grabbing her stuff preparing to shower before the graduation ceremony. She looked at what John and Angelo had chosen for her the night before when they went to the mall. She sighed before walking into her bathroom turning on the baths faucet letting the tub fill. Its been abnormally quite especially since Silas came home. She felt it was something between zander and dahlia and Silas was somehow pulled into it, something probably involving her. She climbed into the chilly water sinking into the water. She laid back in the water holding her breath as she looking up at the surface, pretending it was frozen over and she was unable to come back up. She stayed under until her lungs burned and her head started to hurt, she sat up gasping for air, breathing. She continued gasping slightly as she wiping the water out of her face, she grabbed the soap dumping some into her hands and scrubbing at her hair and face dunking herself under the water again. She scrubbed away at her skin before grabbing a razor and shaving at every pet of her body. She hummed  to a song that was playing in her room. When she was done she threw the razor away and pulling the plug before turning on the shower and rinsing off. She climbed out lotioning up her body ad shimming into her clothes. Ivy smiled feeling girly and pretty before bouncing down the stairs into the kitchen. She froze looking at the scene in front of her, it looked as if she had just walked into a serious discussion between Dahlia and Zander.
"Ivan we need to talk." Zander spoke
"Her name is Ivy" dahlia sneered at him, "if you call her Ivan one more time I swear"

Zander rolled his eyes before talking again, "you need to find a way to contact your parents," 

She could feel her heart speed up, to the point she felt numb all over
"So they can transfer over legal custody of you, so you can be our daughter and we can get you any and every thing you need."

Her heart stopped, she felt like everything had stopped and pure happiness spread throughout her. She heard her sobs before she felt it. Dahlia and Zander enveloped her in a hug

"Fuck, you told her without me." She heard Silas whine.

"You're basically glowing love" John smiled hugging her as he opened his home door pecking both her cheeks pulling her into his house

"Dahlia and Zander want to adopt me." She smiled widely

John screamed excitedly hugging her tighter and bouncing up and down. After John went around introducing her to his family and the man who was assumed straight all of their high school life.  She couldn't fight the smile she had all that night, especially when Angelo arrived in a stylish suit. He smilies instantly when his eyes landed on Ivy standing further from the crowd
He approached licking his lips "you can't become my cousin cause you and I are a thing as if now"
