Chapter 14-Comicon

"Do I have to wear this?" I ask my manager, Kelly.

"You need to dress nicely for the panel" she says as we wait backstage.

"Here, for after the panel" she says and hands me a bag. I look in to see my jeans and a tshirt.

"Oh thank you" I smile and hug her as they start calling people out.

"Love you" I sing as I run out, going to my seat.

"This is so awkward, just people watching you" I whisper to Natalie Portman, who plays Ann, Eira Neve's best friend.

"Welcome, nice to see you all" the guy says and we sit.

"Okay so let's get right in with the questions" he starts and I look around.

"Josh, what urged you to audition for this movie?" He asks.

"Well Eira Neve was always one of my favorite comic book characters growing up and I wanted to be apart of it" he says.

"Karissa. The past two years has been a big change for your life" he says and I smile, nodding.

"What's the biggest change you've realized?" He asks and I blow out a breath.

"Oh that's a good question. Probably that I can't go out in public and do things that I would've been able to do without getting it put out into the world" I say an he nods.

"That must be hard for you" he says and I nod.

"Yeah but it happens to everybody. I knew what I was going into when I started acting" I smile.

"Okay let's get in some questions from the fans!" He says and the microphone is given to a fan.

"Emily, in real life are you like your character?" She asks.

"I'm not quite fully like my character" she laughs.

"But I think there are some similarities" she says.

"Karissa, we all know that you are friends with Macy Smith" a fan says and I nod.

"Had it ever crossed her mind that you may be using her for fame?" She asks and I opens nd close my mouth, sighing.

"I'm not pointing anyone out here, or trying to be rude, but please stop asking me those questions" I start, everyone getting quiet.

"I wouldn't use anyone for fame. I've known Macy since I was young and she has helped with a lot. Her family is very close to mine and I'm not using her, or anyone else. I would prefer to get my career on my own and have the satisfaction of thinking 'I did this' rather than 'I know people who did this for me'" I say and everyone erupts in claps.

"I'm sorry if that was rude, I feel bad" I say into the microphone, rubbing the back of my neck.

"You did good" Emily says, coming over and hugging me.

"Liv" she says quietly.

"She's so cute" I say into the microphone, turning back to her.

"Can I have a hug?" She asks Josh and he opens his arms, her running into them.

"Ooooo Josh" Natalie says and we laugh.

The girl gets a picture with us and goes back down.

"Karissa" someone starts and I look back at the crowd.

"I personally think Macy is the talented friend" I hear and instantly know that it's Macy.

"Sara is the real mvp" I say before I hear her crack up as another fan takes the microphone, asking the producer a question. It goes on for a while before we get to the end.
