I now woke up in a hotel with a note next to me, reading;

'Dear Ali,
You passed out when you transformed back in to a human, so I took you to Manni's Motel right outside of town. I have taken off to go back home, as our home needs us most right now. Come back when you discover what's most important.'

I got home to Demetri, and my mom standing in the living room with the police. My mom was hysterically in tears when she seen me, and Demetrius was glaring at me.

"Thank goodness you're safe Alianna!" My mother ran towards me full force and wrapped herself around me.

"How long was I gone?" I mumbled out.

"You mean you don't know? Did someone take you Alianna? Your car was found in the middle of the road!" Demetrius said as if he was ready for a war.

"Demetrius said you were at their club and you left with some stranger, and I know that isn't like you, and then when we found your car a few miles from the bar, I thought you were dead! Who were you with And where were you?"

" I'm fine mom, I'm safe. I just met up with an old friend and Demetrius didn't take it well. "

"Ali your car was abandoned in the middle of the road!! We're you drinking?"

"No mom, I just didn't realize where I had parked it." I looked up to see Demetrius watching me with the most angered face i had ever seen on him. " what the hell is he doing here? "

"Helping look for you! We all were! How were we supposed to know you were safe if you left your phone, purse and car in the middle of the road?" How was I supposed to tell her everything that happened with out sounding like a drugged up nut case? I had tears welled up in my eyes, my life had really took a turn.

" I'm going to bed.. " I said walking past all the police men and even Demetrius.

"We're going to have a talk young lady! You get in your pajamas, and wait for me."

Demetrius zoomed up behind me. "What the hell is going on with you?" He grabbed my wrist and turned me to his glaring face.

" I could ask you the same thing! " I was now crying, I couldn't stop it. Like a leaky faucet that just wouldn't stop dripping.

"Ali, what I'm doing is protecting you! I'm not meeting strangers at a bar and disappearing!"

"No you're just ignoring me, kicking me out of places, And leaving me out of the loop! Funny that that means protecting me and spending a life with me! Who were those men you were with tonight?"

"They were the gentlemen that were at the house the night of the charity event. They've had job after job for me, if I stop helping them they'll take you. And I can't talk with you about anything because if they read me and find out what you are we'll all be dead! Now where were you last night? Where did you go?"

" Read you? What do you mean? And You wouldn't even believe me if I told you. "

"Try me?" And so I explain everything that had happened after the bar, watching the look on his face become more concerned as I went on. " Ali, we have to get out of here.. "
