A/N: Prepare for heartbreak and allot of sobbing. I felt so bad for writing this, but it had to be done. As a writer you have to be neutral all the time. Even if you love a character. To do that is very hard, because that character feels like your child. That child that you care so much about and would do anything for. I think for a writer the hardest part is to write something you'll know your readers will hate. You will shock them and let them tremble with fear, but it are just words. Just fiction. Just a world you have created and could destroy at anytime. Sometimes you forget that and do something completely diffrent than what you planned. You must avoid that, because than your story does not work anymore. Write a plottwist for your reader, not yourself.
Just wanted to get that of my chest. Enjoy the story!
Task 5
Thanks to the fire it was getting very hot in the room, But it was not enough to calm Felix. It only made him angrier. The fire was getting bigger with every minute, but the room was still in tact. Felix knew that he would choke in this room and he could not care less. He didn't feel like thinking about it. Marzia crawled towards him and laid her head on his shoulder. Together they stared at the fire and entwined their hands. It felt like as if this was the last moment they would be together and in some way it was true. One of them shall not come out of here alive and maybe both. The one couldn't be without the other, but who the most? Felix sighed. He had still so many plans with Marzia that his heart just hurt by the thought of losing her. He held her hand tighter. Marzia looked at him worriedly. "Felix, what is it?" She asked. Her voice. It had changed the longer she lived in England and dated Felix. Still you could hear the soft accent. She held a slight sliss from it, but Felix couldn't find it anymore cuter than he already did. He never really said it, but he loved her. From the start he was crazy about her. He knew from that day that they would see eithother everyday and wouldn't dislike it. In the beginning it was to good to be true, but later it was perfect. His parents had agreed to let Marzia come over to Sweden en to meet the girl that kept their son so busy. Oh, Marzia was very shy and Felix was just...Over the top. Marzia jumped everytime when he told her about Sweden and his life. It was his passion, but he quickly put them aside Marzia. Now he had her and was more than great full for it. "Nothing, I'm just thinking." he said after a long silence. He almost forgot her question because of all those worries. Marzia noticed, but stayed silent. "You are scared." She said immediately. Yes , Felix was scarred. "Not only for him, but also for yourself. You are scared about losing me, but I tell you now: We will be together for ever. If you die, I die. We go together." She said. She cried and it was his fault. He turned towards her to put his arms around and calm her. He only held her tighter and let her tears stream. She pressed her face closer to his chest. They were both so scared. So terrefied.
Marzia wiped her tears away and looked sadly at her boyfriend. This was the last moment they could look at eithother. It was the last moment that they could hold eithother. They had to make it count. They had to make good use of this situation. They had to...Marzia was confused. She couldn't think straight. It was a panicatack and it would go all over if she left this hel. Felix saw it and only held her. She began to hyperventilate and crying at the same time. Felix laid her on the ground and searched fro something wet. Something that could cool her down. The fire begon to grow higher and Marzia had more trouble breathing. It was all going down when Marzia blacked out.
Every building in this city has a kind of water network that is connected to a headpipe. That headpipe goes trough the whole town to every house and building. The network even goes to the first village that is hundred miles away. It worked excellent when you moved in somewhere and when everything was worked out. Only in the building where Felix now was, were no pipes. The construction of the building had been a mistake of the city hall and had never been finished. Many believed that junkies and homeless toke home in it. Still nobody had been inside it. Maybe there was a terrorist organisation? It had been allot on the news nowadays. In the meantime with all those news reports there was a new owner. He had goodwalking company where selled animalskins for half of the market price. As hobby he had a toothbrush factory. The toothbrushes gave him more money, so the building was empty once again. But the owner still paid rent. There even deliveries coming and taken. Nobody knew what happend en nobody wanted to know. After three years the owner let all the waterpipes checked, because apparently he never had clean water. The city hall explained the mistake and the owner disappeared. He had last been spotted by the toothbrush factory. Now Felix needed water that wasn't even there. His girlfriend was dying here and there wasn't even something as simple as water. Had Felix known about the water and who the owner was. Or where he could find some help. Marzia laid unconscious on the ground and began to look whiter every second. Felix thought she was really dying. "Marzia, If you could still hear me...I love you. It was stupid of me to drag you into my problems. I should never been doing the thing I've done. I know we first thought this was all a great game, but this feels pretty real to me. As you are laying here and I can't even save you. I want to save you. I really want to save." He said softly.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I saw everything. You want me to help them. You want me to be the hero for a couple of seconds. You must have forgotten that I'm the villain! I'm the one who makes the rules here!!! You are only supposed to watch! AAAAH!!!
Felix lifted Marzia ran trough the cold hall. The fire was still getting bigger and the whole room was on fire vuur. He ran and didn't see where he was going. The smoke streamed like big weaves behind him and laid down a big coat of grey ash on the black walls. The hall was pretty long and it took a while for Felix to find a door. He opened it with his foot and saw some stairs. Marzia was still unconscious and began to be heavier. Felix tried his best to hold her up. He down the stairs. Until he was downstairs he stopped. He must be insane to survive this. He looked up and that the smoke stopped halfway. He could still smell the fire. The fire he had made himself. He had really thought he could put everything here on fire. He had really wanted to. It was just now that he saw how stupid he had been. This game you couldn't win. Even if you were there to break the rules.
A/N: No one died today. <That is a sentence that lied a million lies. Sorry, getting of track. I had to put up a warning, didn't I. I didn't, because I thought you guys would understand. I know you do, so you can put down all your pitchforks. Still haven't made any friends on this site and this story is the reason why. *Sad whale noises*
I really had to deal with the idea of doing what my readers would have wanted. I actually wanted to ask the question who you would wanted to die first. I'm glad I didn't. I know my readers always just read whatever I write. I don't get allot of message, so I know. I still want this to be my most populair story, because I put allot of time in this baby. This is my little child and it is not full grown yet, so don't ask if you can marry this book. Just don't ask anything to marry you. I won't allow it anyway. I don't even know you. So...Next chapter is going to be just as happy as this one. And you know it...!!
Love you
xoxo
