A/N: Almost there! This is not the ending. That would be so unfair. No, I'll give you the ending you deserve.

Nathan woke up with Matt in his arms. They were tired of all that running. After they got out of that burning room, They have been running trough very long hallway. They eventually just stopped and fell asleep. Somehow they ended up in eithothers arms. Nathan didn't mind. He  was very attached to the little man. It was really stupid how they had lost both of their loved ones, but Nathan believed that everything would turn out alright. While he was thinking, He stroked Matt's hair. Matt awoke from the feeling and blushed a little. "Matt, do you think we'll ever get out of here?" Nate asked. Matt sat up next to Nate. "Depends on what you mean." he answered. Both actually had no clue. Nathan was convinced that this place would be his death. He even thought that Matt would kill him, but somehow that theory wasn't possible anymore. He had allot to think about. Definitely now that he blew up a room. Nate looked at his friend and sighed. "Well, Will we ever get out of this building?"he asked more clearer. Matt shook his head. That was enough for Nate to give up all hope. He knew for sure that this place would be his death. Matt looked at Nate and took his blooded hand. "Shall I take care of you? So that your wound don't get inflamed..." Matt said. Nate blushed and nodded. His hand...He totally forgot that. Matt immediately got to work and Nate felt better. Matt had become very good at this doctor-thing.

Matt never wanted to be a doctor, because he was to smart for that. Still his parents wanted him to study. And that is what Matt did. He got his diploma with the advice that he should go into science and leave his study behind. He had finished his study in a week with very high grades. The university thought that was ridiculous and send him away. Matt could do nothing with his diploma, because he didn't want to go that way. He wanted to act and sing. He found a group in a small theater. The group was holding additions for new actors and gave Matt a spot. He became friends and played allot of leads. On a evening they had this big play and allot of people came to watch. That was the evening Matt met his future wife. They were the perfect couple. Their friends were done with all the flirting and said that they should mary already. That's what they did. They were happy. All those years they had, were perfect. Of course, they had their moments, but that's just how it goes. When Matt met Nate, everything changed. Stephanie and Nate got along very well. No, It was Morgan who seemed to have a problem with everything. Matt and Nate became best friends, but Morgan was so jealous. She talked allot with Stephanie to see if Nate stayed loyal to her. Morgan deserved it to die, Matt thought, but he would never say that out loud. Matt hated Morgan with a passion. Even during the moment his wife died, Morgan did not support him. She told him that it was his fault and that if he hadn't been so busy with Nate that he had seen that his wife....But he had left that behind him. Matt had learned from it. He was a better human now. Now he was looking at his best friend. Was he brave enough to do it? Should he do it? "Nate, we were so close. Why has it changed?" Matt asked. Nathan laughed. He had been expecting that question for a long time. "To tell you the truth: It was all Morgan's fault. She hated you. She even had the nerves to  claim that you are in love with me or something like that, but you were married. I think that I took over her opinion denk and just never talked to you ever again. We have enough time to catch up, you know. I would like to have my best friend back." Nate said. Matt couldn't agree more. He leaned forward and embraced Nathan. Oh, That felt so good. Matt didn't want to let go. He looked Nathan in the eyes and saw all kinds of color between all that green. Nate's eyes were beautiful. Subconsciously Matt looked at his lips. Without thought ,he leaned in. He felt his heart beating loudly in his chest and how his hot breath touched his face. So close. He just could...Bright lights apaired and Matt jumped three meters away. Nathan coughed and looked around. They saw the dirty bathroom and their family. Brett sat on the ground and seemed fine. Not even a bruise. That was a miracle. Nathan helped himself of the wall and walked towards his friend. Brett sighed. "It is not easy to get away from his torture. He hated me the most of all. You are just on time, just like he had predicted. He is at that, you know. He knows everything. Everything that has happend here, he has predicted it. On every drop of blood exactly. Nothing has been let unseen and everything for this sick game." Brett said breathless. He was breathing and sweating heavily. It was hot in this bathroom. Matt felt sorry for the people he couldn't save out of here. Most people didn't even get out alive. He gave himself to blame. That was obviously not true. He had nothing to do with the torture that He did or the people that had died. No, Matt was no killer.  Matt stood up and walked towards the big metal doors. Those locked, of course. Nathan helped his friend up and took him to Matt. "So this is it than?"he spoke softly. Matt nodded. "Yes, behind those doors is our freedom. If we even deserve it. We are of course not exactly innocent." Matt whispered. They would never get out without violence or a key. For both they were to tired to use. Even Brett was useless. But that was not necessary. The door opened. It was over. They were free. Brett and Nathan were to go out, but Matt stopped them. "Not yet. He would never let us out like that. Not before we face the truth." he said. It was nothing more that the truth. Matt never really thought about what he had done to get in this before. He was quilty of so many things and it would take him a long time to confess them all.

Nathan knew what his friend was talking about. Brett knew it. "I killed her." he said. Matt looked up. Nathan crumbled and began to cry. He had killed someone he always thought of as his lover. He had been lied to his whole life and now he had killed his girlfriend. He was a horrible person and there was nothing to do about it. It was unfair that his friend were still alive and mostly, that he was still standing here. It was not fair. Matt sat down next to him. "I always hated her and she hated me. I never knew why, but we never got along. I knew she wouldn't like it if we would become best friends, but I never cared." he said. Nathan looked up bit bloodshot eyes. "You only say that to make me feel better." he said sadly. He didn't deserve it. The two sat there for a while and than stood up. Brett was long gone, but they never noticed. Matt took Nathan's hand and nodded. Together they walked out of the building. They were free.

Behind them the building got on fire, but never got destroyed. As if all those souls kept the building alive. The fire was big and allot of smoke came with it. It was hot. The two friends never looked back. They didn't need to. They were happy again. They had paid enough for their sins and that is just how the game works. You sin, You pay. Even if you have to pay with your own life.

The end?

A/N: I had written something else, but deleted that ten-thousand times. I have delayed this one longer than the rest, because school was being a pain in the ass. For some who do not understand the Morgan/Nathan thing: Nathan has NOT killed Morgan. If you read the chapter were Morgan dies, you know. Nathan only feels quilty, because he was the one finding her there. You also need to know that I am not going to tell you the reason why Morgan died. You have to find that out for yourself.
