Bloodlove - Stalker!Kevin implied

"Flowers?" Aleks asked aloud, puzzled. Who would be sending him flowers? He picked them up off the doorstep, looking around to see if he could see anyone who might have left them. He found no one.

Aleks turned, walking back inside and shutting the door. As he walked to the kitchen to put the odd gift in a vase, he examined the roses further. They had an odd colour to them.

He frowned, his pace slowing. Weren't they a brighter shade of red before? They seemed to be nearing brown now. Tentatively, he leaned forward to sniff them. That was an odd smell... Familiar, though. What was--

Aleks jerked back, eyes widening in fear. He dropped the roses, letting them fall to the ground.

"What the fuck?" he muttered.

"Are you okay?" A voice asked, and he turned to see a confused and concerned looking Domi in the doorway. Perhaps he had spoken louder than he intended to.

"Uh, yeah," he said. "No, actually." He picked up the roses, handing them to her. "What do these smell like to you?"

Domi took the roses hesitantly, eying Aleks suspiciously. She sniffed the roses as tentatively as he had, and her reaction was similar.

She thrust them back at him quickly. "What the hell? Someone sent you roses coloured with blood? That's kind of creepy."

"Kind of? Only kind of?" Aleks asked, incredulous. "Look at this." He gestured to where the petals met the stem. "There's no... No blood on the stem. Someone spent a lot of time getting these perfect."

Domi made a face. "Is perfect really the word you want to use here?"

"You know what I mean."

"Can we get rid of these?" She asked. "They're making me feel sick."

"Me, too," Aleks agreed. He walked back outside and threw them in the trash, shuddering as he did.

In the hedges nearby, a figure was watching. When the observer noticed that his actions had not worked as intended, he cursed quietly. He would have to try something better next time.

idk what this is but i love the idea of blood coloured roses and stalker!kevin???? just???????????????? whoA. might do more, might not. we'll see.

also can i just point out how much i adore the term "bloodlove"? i mean its probably already a thing but it was la:te PM when i came up with it and i am proud of myself as fuck
