Someone Followed

[Fabian's POV]

I woke up when I heard a loud blast. I couldn't find Nina anywhere, then, I saw the portal that she so longed to go into shake. It frightened me. What if she went in there? I have to get her back! I went into it carefully and saw her on the ground holding a red flame. That must be the flame Robert intended for Nina to get.

I only hoped that she was alive. Nothing seemed to matter. Not my friends, not the quest, it was Nina. I only cared for Nina. I held her in my arms and started to cry.

[Patricia's POV]

We were at dinner when I noticed Fabian and Nina were not back at Anubis House. "Hey guys, where is Romeo and Juliet?" Jerome punched me. "That was my joke, Trixie!" I got up and went into the kitchen. I remembered that Trudy was going to throw out some spoiled milk, so I got it before she remembered.

I went over to Jerome crossly and poured it down wickedly. "That's for punching me!" I walked upstairs, Joy and Mara following close behind me.

[Nina's POV]

When I passed out, Thoth entered my head. "Chosen One, you have 1 week left. Don't fail me!" I woke up to Fabian crying. He kissed me quickly when he knew I was awake.

"Nina, you scared me." He helped me up and shook me. "Are you crazy? I could've lost you! Don't EVER do that again!" I pushed him away calmly. "I had everything under control, Fabian." "Not from where I was standing." At this point, we were just yelling things at each other. But, it's what couples do, right?

"Fabian, I can take care of myself. I'm NOT a child!" "I'm trying to protect you because your Osirian doesn't seem to care whatsoever!" "He DOES care, Fabian! At least he doesn't keep an eye on me every 5 minutes of my freakin life!" Fabian got all boiled up.

"Well, if you think he protects you better than me, maybe YOU should go and marry HIM!" I crossed my arms. "Y'know what, I think I WILL! He seems to be in more control than you!" "Just go then, marry Eddie! And stay out of my life, NINA! You and I are nothing but trouble together!"

"FINE! I'll leave! But remember this, Fabian Rutter, you WILL get what's coming to you." "What?" "Its called KARMA!" He slapped me across the face. "Leave me, NINA MARTIN! AND NEVER RETURN!" I left with a sudden haste without saying another word. I left him all alone.

We broke up. I wanted to go back and apologize. Not because I desperately wanted him back, which was a case but not a huge one, but it was because all of those terrible things to him. Fabian was always there for me, and I just left him alone in that crypt. I started back when Thoth came and took me away.

[Eddie's POV]

Yacker and I were playing would you rather when my head started throbbing. Yacker touched it. "Eddie, are you ok?" "No. I think it has to do something with Nina." My head got even worse. Then, I heard a tiny voice telling me something about Nina.

She's in danger, Osirian. Find the Chosen One. Before its too late.

"Patricia, I'm sorry, but I need to find Nina. Its important." She nodded and I rushed off swiftly to find Fabian, maybe he knows what was going on.
