The next day you woke up with the same routine as you exit your home on your way to school. However again you feel as if your being followed. You look around. You kind of jumped as you saw yet again a tracksuit and dark purple hair behind you. As you made eye contact both your faces blasted with embarrassment.

Y/N: Y-Yato?

Yato: This is purely coincidental I swear!

You chuckled at his remark as you collect yourself. You invite him to walk with you as he accepted. At first it was silent. You really werent use to walking with anyone. You looked at the commercial stops like stores and restaurants with their nice aromas. Then passing through a park making way to a lake. Yato broke the silence at last.

Yato: Y/N?

Y/N: Yes?

Yato: You wanna come over again today? Ya know... Hang out?

Y/N: O-Ofcourse! I dont mind!

Yato: Oh yay! Thank you Y/N!~

His face lighten up at your response as he squeezed you for a few seconds. You smiled along with him. You just loved seeing the god happy. You slightly turned as you reminded yourself he was a god. Well ofcourse I will accept. Anything for a god. You reached the school and you waved Yato goodbye. Homeroom came by and your classes were almost endless. Finally reaching last period you race out of class and get all your things. You leave quickly as you forget you're school activities and rush to the gate. However you dont see Yato. You were slightly down hearted. Maybe he's busy? You remained walking to your home. You contemplated whether to visit Yukine on your way. You felt like you were being watched, as if you werent alone. It was a creepy feeling that kept bugging you terribly.

Around the rooftops were Kuguha and Nora with their phantom dogs, watching Y/N from above with narrow, hollow eyes.

Nora: You know... Your plan with Hiyori wont work... Yato is already forgetting about her... However he wont care about this human girl either, they arent intimate enough...

Kugaha: And you really suggest for me to have my plan on hold?

Nora: Yes... if not you will watch yourself crumble to pieces...

Kugaha: Do keep close eye on her... However that wont be needed... Its just a dumb... Dumb... Girl.

You start walking off near the river instead. You wanted to have a little peace for the day. However on your way you find quite the surprise.

Yukine: Y/N!

Your head darts over as you see a large sakura tree, Yukine waving at you and a new face beside him. You smile widely as you run to Yukine.

Y/N: Yukine! How are you?

Yukine: Im doing great! Oh! Suzuha! This is Y/N! Y/N, Suzuha!

You look over at the guy and shake his hand as he smiles.

Suzuha: You can see me?

Y/M: Hehe! Yeah I do! Why wouldn't I?

Suzuha: Hehe, just curious. Im Bishamonten's regalia. Atleast one of them...

You felt excitement as you heard who he was from. The Bishamonten?! Thats awesome!

Y/N: Woah thats amazing!

Suzuha: Thanks!

Yukine: Yeah atleast she isnt a push over like Yato...

Y/N: Yato isnt a pushover!

Yukine: Woah! Hehe sorry Y/N!

Y/N: O-Oh! Did I get too agitated? Im so sorry.~

Yukine: I-Its okay! Im surprised you even defend the guy. He's a real loser.

We all giggle as we hung around the Sakura tree. Suzuha showed us how he'd taken care of the tree after it was destroed. He's really done an amazing job! We also talked about their gods and so. Bishamonten really sounds amazing but the flaws are easily visible. He also talked about a human girl he met, how she kept forgetting him. Why though? You really dont understand. They have this dilema where they dont remember anything or see anyone? But You see them perfectly. You remember them well. And You remembered Yato for that long and they seem so shocked by it. Yukine gets closer to you to whisper.

Yukine: Hey. Y/N?

Y/N: Yeah?

Yukine: Dont tell Yato about Suzuha, got it?

He looked very serious about it. You couldnt decline. They are your friends after all.

Y/N: I wont tell. Promise.

Yukine: Thank you, Y/N.

We kept talking until it got slight darker. We all decided that it was time to call it a night.

Suzuha: I think you two should get going.

Yukine: Alright. Y/N, want me to walk you home?

Y/N: If you want to then its okay.

Suzuha: Please get home safe you two.

Y/N: You two Suzuha, goodbye!

Yukine: I'll come again tomorrow! Y/N, you can come too!

Y/N: Ofcourse!

We waved eachother goodbye and walked home. When You got to your doorstep.

Yukine: Y/N.

Y/N: Yeah?

Yukine: Please. Promise me you wont forget me like everyone else does.

Y/N: I swear by my name. I wont forget you, Yukine.

You waved Yukine goodbye as he went off. Maybe the story about Tomoko made him worried. But you would never forget such wonderful friends. You went into your home alas and all of a sudden while going home you felt a pain in your chest. Its like someone dissapeared? You couldnt tell... But it ached and ached. You greeted your parents softly goodnight as You peek on the living room. You then went upstairs slowly and called it a night. You couldnt help but feel watched as the pain was still there. Maybe its just chest pain or your sick? Who knows. You got to your books and reviewed the study material for a long hour. The pain remained consistant and you decided to shower and call it a night. You went off to the shower, still feeling the heavy pain. You made a bath and lied down, the world sinking away.
