chapter 15 - first day of summer

This is the worst way to start summer off

Dad transported Militia to our house by magic cause her uncle was beating her I've never felt so angry in my life I wanted to kill him but dad stopped me

And now Militia is unconscious mom picked her up and put her on the couch

Then mom and dad asked me about what she ment by the daily prophet scaring them that the daily prophet was only writing about you-know-whos daughter
I think it dawn on them what she ment because they went silent

" Fred is she you-know-whos daughter my dad whispered

" yes but I assure you she isn't anything like that she saved Ginny and Harry while they were in the chamber I whispered back

" don't worry she won't be spending all summer with us she's going to visit her other friends she was afraid that you wouldn't like her cause her father I quickly added

" what do you mean she won't be staying we won't let her go back to those Muggles even she doesn't disserve that my mom responded quickly

" no the third week of summer she's going to Luna Lovegood's for a week then the fifth week she's going to Draco Malfoy's for a week their close friends
Then the seventh week she's going to Cedric's I said softly

" O OK very well my parents said in sync

" Fred ....Fred ....George where am I Fred I heard someone whisper from the living room I quickly rushed in to fine a now stirring Militia

" Fred what happened where am I where's my uncle I said looking around scared that's when I noticed five other people looking at me

I don't know why but I started backing up away from Fred's reach I suddenly fell with a thud I realized that I had fell off the couch backing up

I quickly scrambled into a small corner covering my head as I curled up in a ball leaning on the wall

" Militia sweetheart ate you OK Mrs . Weasly asked getting closer
She lifted up her hand

" please don't hurt me I yelled flinching at her bringing her hand down

" O dear I was I didn't mean to scare you it was just a bug that's all Mrs . weasly said softly

" Molly give her room for Merlin's sake she's shaking sweety Mr . weasly said

I was still to scared to move away from my safe corner that's when a Gray owl dropped a letter in my lap

I quickly opened it  and read it

Dear , Militia

I hope your OK I saw your uncle I was about to come over and help you but my father stopped me and let Mr . Weasly save you

I am truly sorry are you safe should I stop by the borrow if the Weasly's won't let you stay with them I already asked father if you could stay with me he said yes that you can come and go as you please

Please write back I miss you and I'm crazy worried about you

Who's it from Ginny asked as she got closer I slowly stood up
" it's from a friend of mine that's all I said slowly going out to the kitchen were my trunks and bird cage was I was glad to see no one messed with Vlad

I slowly opened my clothing chest and slid the letter under a few Muggle clothes I had

" Oooo you have a old Mr . Weasly asked

" Uumm yes and no Mr Weasly I said politely

" call me Arthur dear and is it a Phoenix he said softly not to scare me

I slowly lifted the blanket side facing me

" want out Vlad I cooed at the black bat sitting in the cage he made a small squeak

I slowly opened the car door and let him land on my hand I slowly raised him so Arthur could see him

" aaaahhhhh Arthur a ..a bat aaaaahhh yelled Molly I quickly tucked Vlad into my robe by my chest

" his name is Vlad I snapped at the older lady freaking out which seemed to make her stop

" he's my pet he's a fruit bat he's loyal and delivers letters like a owl I quickly added petting him through my robe

" O sorry dear I didn't mean to offend you it's just no witch or wizard has ever own a bat let alone one that delivers letters
Molly said catching her breath

" it's OK ma'am I said lowering my head like I had done for my uncle

Fred quickly came from downstairs

" babe I got your room set up we can take your trunks up now he said wrapping me in a tight hug causing me to yelp in pain

I couldn't help but laugh which caused Everyone to look at me like I was insane

" it's just like the first time we met and you hugged me Fred remember I yelped cause I had bruises then to I said once I stopped laughing

We soon started walking up to my room that was right next to the twin's

It was a  beautiful room

it had a bed that was Slytherin colors ,  it had a dark oak desk by a window that had a beautiful view of a grassy meadow ,  there was posters of Hogwarts and the houses , there was a dresser with a mirror , it even had a perch for Vlad

" O Fred this room is to nice thank you so much Fred for letting me stay with you I love you I said as I hugged him

He hugged me back as he whispered that he loved me to and that he was sorry about my uncle before leaving me to unpack

I quickly went to pet Vlad who already was on his perch as I unpacked my clothes I changed into some batman shorts and a Shawn mendes shirt

I quickly found the Muggle radio Cedric gave me for my birthday I had bought a few
Shawn mendes ,  Jordan sweeto , ect CDs

I started dancing around to stitches by Shawn mendes as I unpacked the rest of my stuff I couldn't help but be happy I was free the Muggles for were gone
Sure I was in pain from earlier but I just had to dance around and be happy

I quickly put my long mostly brown hair in a high ponytail and curled it before going down stairs where the whole weasly family staring at me I wasn't sure if it was my clothes or that Vlad was on my shoulder

" if it's Vlad I can put him away I said getting ready to go back up stairs

" no Militia your eyes are glowing a little brighter George said nodding at me

" it's probably cause I'm truly happy for the first time in a long time i feel free I'm not so scared

I'm sorry if it scares you  when some of my emotions are strong like being happy , angry , or scared my eyes do tend to show the wolfish gold more it's cause my father and the powers I have  I said softly sitting by Fred and Arthur

I was soon sitting crisscross on the couch braiding Ginny's hair I explained about how I had found Vlad in the broken shed I lived in and how I raised him from day 1

Soon after I finished braiding her hair Molly called use for dinner I noticed Fred couldn't take his eyes off of me I couldn't help but do the famous Slytherin smirk when I caught his eyes I winked causing him I blush

After dinner I help Molly do the dishes before going up to my room where I wrote Draco's letter and sent Vlad off to deliver it
