Its been a few days now, and millie has almost subsided. She comments a few hateful things here and there, but they give me and Finn a great laugh. Mutant besides that we need to get out of the house for a while. I came up with the idea of going on a picnic. Hidden shock at first that I wanted to do something so curly but I told him that I would take care of everything. I went into the kitchen and started making sandwiches. I need fruit Iced Tea and Other sides. I packed it all in a picnic basket with blankets please cups and utensils. I knew the perfect place to go, a park near where we used to live. We hopped into the car and I started to drive away.
"Where are we going to have this picnic?" Finn asked.
"Its a surprise you little shit." I snapped back (playfully, chill)
"Jack! Don't curse around sophia!" He yelled.
"I'm sorry I'm sorry!" I apologized. "Not really." We smirked.
One we got there, finn and Sophia went to play on the jungle gym while I set everything up by a pile of sticks, trees, and a pond.

I waved over to Finn to come over. He looked at Sophia and then started walking towards me. His eyes lit up. He almost looked like he was going to cry. I grabbed Sophia and spun her in the air.
"Ya hungry, Soph?" I asked her in a babyish tone.
"Mhmm" She nodded.
I placed her down on the blanket and took her shoes off. She started to eat, and I kissed Finns cheek.
"DIG IN!" I yelled.
Once we where done eating, Sophia, Finn, and I ran around in the field and looks for things that Sophia was interested in, mostly rocks. By the time we had settled down, her pockets where full of pebbles and stones, each unique. I squished her cheeks with one hand and gave her a kiss.
"Thanks for this, Jack. I really needed it." Finn thanked. I blushed.
"Anything for my 2 favorite people of the world." I glanced at Sophia and scrunched my nose at her, she did the same back.
"Here comes the tickle monster!" Finn yelled as she screamed and laughed in terror. He ticked her until she fell over and I just sat back and watched thinking.. I'm so lucky.
