When we got home, Daichi offered to cook dinner. I'm not much of a chef and Daichi's food is really good, so I didn't mind.
I sat on the couch, watching Daichi carefully as he placed seaweed soup in bowls and some sushi on a platter.

Daichi placed the food on the table as I pulled out a chair and sat down.

After dinner Daichi went to the shower to wash up. I stayed back and picked up the table, cleaned the dishes and cleaned a little around the apartment. By the time Daichi came out of the shower, I was laying in bed reading a book. Daichi sat down beside me, yawning.
