Eight

When it was the first day of school, Baekhyun was shaking uncontrollably and it was hard for him to breath. It happened to him sometimes, but he didn't know why.

"Baekhyun? Are you having an asthma attack? What's wrong?" DJ asked him so many questions he didn't have the answer too.

"I don't....know..."

Baekhyun had trouble breathing as it was, with one lung and everything.

"Do you have an inhaler?" Baekhyun shook his head again, "Okay, let's get you in the car."

"I don't...want...to go."

"I'm taking you to the doctor, not school."

Baekhyun didn't want to go to the doctor just as much. He was starting to feel dizzy though as DJ helped him into the car. Everything was a blur from there. When he came to he had an oxygen mask over his face. He wanted to scream because he remembered this happening before.

"He's awake now," A nurse took the oxygen mask off of his face.

Tears started running down his face, he was getting flashbacks. This hadn't happened before, "I want to leave, please let me leave."

"I know this might seem scary for you, but you just need to stay put for now."

"You don't understand! I can't be in here!" He screamed, a blood-curdling scream, "Make it go away!"

A couple more nurses ran into the room to comfort him, but it was just making everything worse. He could see everything in his head, "Everything will be okay."

"I need Chanyeol, please, I need him," One of the nurses left the room and came back with Chanyeol and DJ.

"Are you okay, Baek?" Chanyeol looked scared. He's never experienced something like this.

"I'm scared, this place scares me," Baekhyun pulled Chanyeol closer to him, "DJ, can we leave, please? I'm having flashbacks."

"It's not up to me when you leave, Baekhyun."

"Sir, we were thinking about doing some screenings."

"Screenings? I don't need a screening. Don't do a screening!"

"Baekhyun, we're just going to give you a sheet of questions, just answer them honestly, okay?" The nurse gave Baekhyun a fake smile and handed him a clipboard. Baekhyun knew just how many problems he had, and if he was honest he'd be locked away and deemed a "danger to himself and others" so he lied.
