Work was boring as usual.

"DJ, we need a new reservation sheet," Baekhyun said.

"Go up to my office and check the top right drawer."

"Okay," Baekhyun ran up the stairs, stifling a laugh at the apartment door before going into the office. He found the reservation sheets, but something caught his eye before he left. A few picture frames lined the top of the desk. Baekhyun noticed a woman in all of them, some with DJ, some without. In one of the photos, she was pregnant.

"Did you find it?"

Baekhyun stood up frantically, "Yes!"

"I see you've met my wife,"

"Huh?" Wife? DJ never introduced them to his wife.

DJ picked up one of the photos, "That's my wife. Beautiful, isn't she?"

"She is," Baekhyun looked down, "She reminds me of my mom."

"Go get Chanyeol, I'll tell you two about her. Tell somebody else to watch the register."

Baekhyun ran down and got Chanyeol, he'd rather have Chanyeol with him anyways. He didn't like talking to DJ alone.

"Ten years ago I was married to my wife, Eunsun."

"What is she like?" Chanyeol asked curiously.

"She was always happy, even when we had no money, she always made the most of everything," She was really like Baekhyun's mom. Baekhyun missed his mom the most, she was always looking on the bright side and she always knew how to cheer Baekhyun up, "Five years ago, she was pregnant with twins. My twins, but there were complications during their birth and I lost my twins and my wife," Baekhyun's breath hitched, somebody understood what he went through. Somebody understood his pain. Five years ago was a bad time for both of them, "I felt that maybe you boys could fill my emptiness. She would want me to move on, she would want this for me."

Baekhyun hugged DJ, "I know how you feel."

"That's why I go by DJ now for Donghae and Jinwa."

Baekhyun felt that it was easier for DJ to overcome this because he was older. Baekhyun never took off the Superman watch that belonged to his big brother. Usually, he couldn't sleep most of the night without his father tucking him in and his mother kissing his forehead and singing him a lullaby. It was strange to him that he could sleep next to Chanyeol with no problem.

"Baekhyun, your family would probably want this for you too," Chanyeol smiled at him. That damn smile. Baekhyun could've believed anything that Chanyeol told him. All it took was that smile.

Baekhyun smiled back, "Yeah."

"This is where I was meant to be too," Chanyeol said.

By the time the day was over it was pouring rain, Chanyeol fell asleep in the back of the car. He liked the sound of rain. Baekhyun didn't like when there were thunder and lightning.

"What do you want to do when we get home? What do you and Chanyeol like to do?"

"We just talk most of the time. There are not many games I can play with him, but that's okay."

"You're an unusual kid, Baekhyun," DJ stifled a laugh.

"Yeah, I guess you could put it that way," Baekhyun looked over at Chanyeol who was still sleeping. Baekhyun didn't like talking to DJ, it was always awkward and forced. Technically, he didn't have to, he talked for the first time in five years just a few weeks ago. Baekhyun had a talent for being silent. He thought maybe he hadn't gone silent again because Chanyeol liked the sound of his voice.
