Ten

"Hey, wake up," DJ gently shook Baekhyun awake.

"Huh?" Baekhyun woke up confused, not really knowing where he was at first, "Sorry. I didn't mean to fall asleep here."

"I'm surprised you didn't sleep with Chanyeol."

"He didn't want me to," Baekhyun sat up and stretched.

"You still slept well though, so it's okay."

"Not really, I had a lot of nightmares last night."

"I have nightmares too, it's gotten better for me though."

"I don't know why, but when I sleep by Chanyeol, I sleep so much better, and I have good dreams."

"Your brain thinks you're okay when you're next to him."

"Yeah, I think so too," Baekhyun yawned, "Sorry again for sleeping in your bed."

"It's okay, I just passed out on the couch, but you don't need to be staying up so late playing video games."

"You stayed out late."

"I have a job."

"Whatever, I don't want to go to school today."

"It's Friday, you just have to survive one more day, then you'll have a break."

Baekhyun rolled out of bed with a groan, "Chanyeol! Do you need to shower?" Chanyeol didn't answer, Baekhyun would have to wake him up.

"I'm headed out soon," DJ said, pulling clothes out of his drawer, "It's busy this time of year. Christmas type concerts are getting popular."

"What are you getting me for Christmas, DJ?"

"Get out of my room, Baekhyun."

Baekhyun was sure Christmas would be good this year. DJ had been working later and later lately. Baekhyun had actually probably saved enough money to get something for Chanyeol and DJ. He went up the stairs and woke up Chanyeol, "Why are you so tired, Chanyeol?" Baekhyun laid on top of him, "Do I snore loud?"

"No, Baekhyun, you don't snore loud. You just talk in your sleep sometimes and wake me up. It's okay though," Chanyeol kissed his nose, "I think I'm caught up now."

"We have to get up. Only one day of school until break."

They both got up and rushed down the stairs.

"I'm going to work! Eat some cereal or something!"

"What?! You're not cooking for us, dad?" Chanyeol joked.

DJ smiled, he always would when Chanyeol called him that. Baekhyun mentally added this to the list of things he wished Chanyeol could see.

"Don't worry, Chanyeol! I will cook something for you," Baekhyun said heroically.

"Do you even know how to cook? Just pour me some cereal or something."

DJ chuckled before walking out of the door, "Okay, boys, see you after school."

"I could cook scrambled eggs."
