the Third encounter: A friend

It has been a week since Lily died. I was really lonely but that nothing equal to the shame I put on myself on the day she passed away.

FLASHBACK

"Lily? Lily.... this is just a joke right? or maybe a dream... you'll never leave me right?" I quietly whispered as tears had begun to flow out

"LILY!!"

What is this burning feeling inside of me? I want to be eased from this pain please, please I'm begging you...

"Alex-chan! Please defrost this glaciers!"

It took me a moment to realize I froze my surroundings. A cold place where I am alone, empty... nothing but ice. Is this something like the place inside the frozen heart?

"Lily-chan should have still been here if you weren't all the goody goody kid! It would have been better if you were the one in the coffin!" Permy says in a high tone

"If I could substitute her in her death, it would have been great. But it was impossible since her desire to protect me was stronger than the toughest steel"

"You're just making up excuses! She should be smiling-

"JUST WHO ARE YOU THAT YOU COULD SPEAK LIKE THAT FOR LILY! WHAT DO KNOW ABOUT HER ANYWAY?!" It was my turn to shout

"I-I know about her trauma from 7 years-

"Then, you didn't even notice how she hated it when you picked on the small bunny you found near the forest? How she tried to eat lunch with you but you brush her away? How she was lonely when you bad mouthed others?" I barraged her with the scenes that I have observed from afar

"How about you where were you anyway?"

"Me? I was in the shadows because I knew the light was never a place I could fit in"

"Alex-chan defrost the glaciers!" Naru-sensei's voice brought me to be consciouos of my surroundings
