The Seventh encounter: The Experiments

THE NEXT DAY

I wasn't able to get even a wink of sleep from thinking about last night.

"If Alexander came today, I don't know how to face him"

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

If... If it's Alexander, how do I face him? Should I ask him why he did that or maybe act like nothing happened? Why wasn't I even affected when Yukiteru kissed me? Is this the "reward" for the "Fever Quest"?

Knock. Knock.

Here goes.

"Ah" My face turned sour the time I saw who was at my door

"What a lively greeting" Persona remarks

"Not so sarcastic early in the morning, Persona" I snap at his words

"The ESP has a favor to ask of you"

*ESP: shortcut for Elementary School Principal*

"I'm in the Middle school division and I am under the Middle School Principal, Himemiya-sama, not the ESP"

"But the ESP is still a principal, so here is his letter. If you don't come, you might not want what will happen" Persona warns as he left

How troublesome.

I was on my way to the High School Division building to get the job done.

"Alexandra!"

I looked back and saw Alexander and Yukiteru. Since I was in a sour mood, I treated Alexander normally.

"Where are you going?" Yukiteru asks

"Doing a troublesome favor for a troublesome person if not, there will be a troublesome punishment from another troublesome person" I replied dully

"Then, we're coming with you" Alexander replied but not before looking at me for awhile

We snuck easily into the building since all the students were in class.

"This must be it" I said, while facing the door mentioned in the letter

"What are we gonna do once we get in?" Yukiteru asks

"ESP said "give him a good beating""

Without further ado, I inserted the key given to me and murmured some kind of passcode. Instead of an opening door, the door sucked us into a warphole.

"that ESP...." I cussed

When I woke up, I was in a corridor and I was certain it wasn't in the academy.

Badump... Badump...

My chest constricted as I tried to stand. This place seems so familiar but I can't seem to know why. When I looked up, blood stains where on the wall.

"Alexander? Yukiteru?" They weren't there

I ended up following the blood stains until it led to a certain door. Without hesitation, I opened it.

"Bring them back" I sternly said

"My..my.. What a greeting" He said

I looked around the room and saw Yukiteru and Alexander tied back with hankerchiefs on their mouths.

"You already let Lily die and now them? What do you want from me?" I asked with a cold tone

That is why this is familiar, this is the Z base and the person in front of me is the boss of Z, the son of a clone of ESP.
